São Bartolomeu Apartment 4

La struttura si trova in una zona centrale di Coimbra, comoda per visitare la città. L’alloggio è costituito da un ampio open space con letto matrimoniale alla francese, divano letto, zona cucina e bagno. Gli spazi sono adeguati anche per un soggiorno di quattro persone. Data la posizione centrale, la struttura non dispone di un parcheggio privato. Nelle vicinanze sono comunque presenti diversi parcheggi a pagamento: durante il nostro soggiorno, nel mese di settembre, ne abbiamo trovato uno al costo di circa 17 € al giorno.

La cucina non era sufficientemente fornita di utensili per quattro persone: non erano presenti forchette, coltelli, cucchiai, tazze e bicchieri in quantità adeguata. Il bagno avrebbe bisogno di qualche intervento di manutenzione e di una maggiore attenzione alla pulizia: mancava la copertura dei pulsanti dello scarico e le fughe della parete della doccia avrebbero necessitato di una pulizia più accurata. L’appartamento si trova al quarto piano senza ascensore, aspetto da tenere in considerazione soprattutto se si viaggia con bagagli pesanti. Per il divano letto sarebbe stato inoltre utile avere a disposizione una coperta leggera, dato che durante il nostro soggiorno la sera faceva piuttosto fresco. Infine, nelle ore più tarde della sera, dopo la chiusura dei ristoranti circostanti, la zona ci è sembrata meno tranquilla e frequentata da persone che non ci hanno trasmesso una particolare sensazione di sicurezza.

sim, as instruções estavam claras. O lugar está bem bonitinho, arejado, iluminado. Moveis novos. Boa estrutura de hospedagem. Anfitriã muito simpática e promove ótima comunicação.

O chão estava cheio de pelos de pets, provavelmente de outros hospedes. Tinha muito gelo do congelador do frigobar, a luz artificial atraia muits mosquitinhos de calor que incomodaram bastante, teto com focos de , solicitei inseticida mas infelizmente não fui atendida. Muitas escadas para quem está com muitas malas, isso dificulta um pouco. sofá posicionado muito perto de um recorte da escada, meu filho bateu a cabeça várias vezes. Local bem quente e abafado, os ventiladores ajudam a refrescar.

Good place in a great location. It doesn’t have air conditioning, but with the windows open it wasn’t too bad. Overall, we had a good stay.

The apartment is in an excellent location in the old town, directly opposite Igres Sao Bartolomeu (very important as there are NO markings on the door so you have no idea where the apartment is! The studio room was a very good size. The power shower was great, just a tip though... in Portugal the hot water is from a tank, and it runs out quickly. We had to turn the shower off whilst putting shampoo on etc or the water ran cold. This is common in Portugal. Various English channels on the tv with Portuguese subtitles. Windows open fully or can tilt, has wooden shutters which keep the room nice and dark at night. There is an electric heater.

They don't tell you on here that there are 58 STEPS to get up to apartment 4!! It only says there are stairs to some apartments, but for all we knew it could have been on the first floor! Really unsuitable for people like me with mobility issues. Also, the side of the staircase is about a 10 inch drop so a small child could easily get a leg stuck falling, very dangerous. The apartment is apparently suitable for pets, but again , I would worry about little dogs with these stairs. The bed is VERY, VERY noisy!! We everytime you turn over it creaks loudly and wakes you up. The mattress is about a medium, not firm so my husband and I woke up with back and hip ache each day. The rooms are not soundproofed at all. On two occasions, people in rooms downstairs were really noisy in the middle of the night (2-3am) and kept us awake. The kitchen is very small and not practical to actually cook in. The pots provided do not fit in the tiny sink and there is no draining board. There is no tin opener, no jug, no colander. You can hear the street music with the windows closed, which we really liked, but it may be an issue for some. On the booking it mentions a reception. There is none, and nobody on site. It is literally a house in a residential road split into 4 apartments, one on each floor. Nobody told us that there is no maid service, so bedsheets were not changed during our 9 day stay. Our pillows had no cases on them. There is a trolley (which is covered up) in the hallway which thankfully had towels and sheets so we took pillowcases and clean towels during our stay. Don't know if we were supposed to as there was no signs anywhere to tell us if we could or not. Very poor sign posting. There was NOTHING indicating where the apartments were or if we were at the right place. It is opposite Igres Sao Bartolomeu and next door to a photography/art shop. I will attach a photo of the front of the property to help anyone trying to find it.
