This was a compact, clean, well-arranged flat in an excellent location near restaurants, cake shops, general & tourist shops, the river and the historic sites. The owner was helpful and allowed us to leave luggage in his Chemist's shop until the flat was ready as we arrived early. There were some helpful leaflets and maps on the landing outside and the tourist office wasn't far away. Coimbra is well worh a visit, as is the Roman site at Conimbriga about 20 mins away. The guide on the traditional sailing boat river trip had a very amusing way of explaining the history of Coimbra.

We found two steak knives and one teaspoon but no other cutlery, including nothing to stir cooking with. We weren't planning on cooking but other visitors might be.The en-suite could have benefitted from more hooks to hang clothes or towels.

Je vous recommande d'y séjourner, la location est très bien située dans une petite rue adjacente, très calme et c'est très propre.

La description de l'appartement ne correspond pas à la réalité, il n'y a que 2 chambres dont une suite, une toute petite chambre avec un petit lit d'une personne sans fenêtre, un salon avec un canapé lit, une petite cuisine et une deuxième salle de bain. L'eau du robinet sortais jaunâtre sûrement dûe aux travaux sur l'avenue.

A large, practical apartment with 3 rooms, 2 showers, several dressers. Well-located at the bottom of the hill. Pleasant view on the street below. The owner was friendly and available (we found an arrangement to leave our luggage for a few hours). Surprisingly quiet, in the morning we heard mostly birds.

Not really any problem. Smallish showers. One of the 3 rooms does not have outside windows (but gets some indirect sun)
