CapoCathedral apartment

Apartment is a decent size, mostly comfortable and very clean on arrival. Location is pretty good, up a little side street so pretty quiet with lots of good, local restaurants and a small supermarket nearby. About a 25 mins walk from the main train / bus station. Good facilities, plenty of storage space for clothes etc. Air conditioning works well in the hot weather.

On arrival, had a little problem gaining initial access as no key code for the lockbox had been sent despite arrival time being confirmed (the owners had an emergency to deal with). Also, the apartment is a little difficult to find as it is not quite located on where Google maps or other apps specify it is. The hot water boiler twice decided to trip out so had no hot water until told what to do to reset it. Also, be warned that the sliding door that separates the bathroom from the bedroom is not lockable so privacy feels a bit limited. The sofa bed is not very comfortable at all, you can feel the metal bars underneath and this makes sleeping on it a little awkward.

Nella casa c’é un odore persistente e molto sgradevole di umidita che sembra prevenire dallo scarico della doccia. Ogni volta che rientravamo eravamo costretti a spalancare le finestre.

Ubicación buena, calle tranquila, características del apartamento, tiene de todo en poco espacio y la decoración está cuidada. La relación calidad precio es muy buena.

El olor a tuberías o cloacas es muy intenso, sólo abriendo todas las ventanas desaparece. Es una pena porque el apartamento es muy agradable. También deberían avisar sobre las escaleras con peldaños muy altos.

La posizione è centrale. Gli host sono gentili e presenti nel cercare di rendere il soggiorno confortevole. La struttura è carina e curata. Se dovete lasciare le valigie in attesa di avere la camera, al chioschetto in piazzetta sono disponibili, ovviamente a pagamento. O ci sono dei point.. il più vicino però è verso il mercato di Ballaró.

Onestamente per più di 80 euro a notte, mi aspetto altri standard. E' un prezzo medio che si trova a Palermo, ma è alto rispetto a quello che la città offre. Di posti ne ho girati e a questi prezzi trovi alloggi con pulizie giornaliere e città curate. Abbiamo avuto un problemino di perdita dovuto al piano superiore ed i proprietari sono stati tempestivi nella risoluzione. Purtroppo al piano di sopra c'era un' altro affitta camere ed abbiamo avuto la sfortuna di trovare gente maleducata, che faceva parecchio rumore anche fino a tarda notte e si sente tutto.
