It’s a very nicely renovated appartement in a neighbourhood that is very touristic, but near all the sightseeing places. It has a charming balcony to have breakfast or a drink or just people watch.

The online check in platform used ask for too much information (a selfie with the id for each traveler?). Plus a selfie for both people staying in the apartment on arrival. It’s very intrusive. The apartment has a whole set of rules that you receive just before arriving, that were not seen at the moment of booking. One was the obligation to throw away the garbage before leaving. I can agree for things that are really smelly, but for the rest I don’t think the owner realizes that for his own confort and peace he sacrifices the one or the tourists. After long days out and when you also need to carry your luggage down 2 flores on barris stairs, your last concern is to go take your garbage following instruction s on some streets away.

The place was very clean, cozy and well equipped. The central location in a pitoresque old town street was ideal for our 3 night stay in Palermo. Also the host was thorough and friendly.

Be aware that the staircase is very narrow and steep. Also the balcony is not ideal for people who are afraid of heights. The street can be a bit loud at times. Then again, this is the "price" for a central location and an original old-town building.

Location is convenient.

There was a festival near the place during our stay in September. It was loud at night after 11pm even until 1am or 2am. Should have notified us when booking or provide some discounts. Also the bed is too old and making lots of metallic noise while with only slightly movement such as sit on the bed or simply get up from the bed.
