Disappointing
Unfortunately sorry to say wasn’t for us. Wasn’t a lot of room for us or our luggage with an extra mattress, duvet,pillows,fans in the way. Wasn’t very clean 😟 Very stuffy for us also, only one small window at the front you can open slightly so could get the air in. Also if you are like me and need blackout curtains this isn’t a good match. We just didn’t feel comfortable.

Convenient Little Bed Sit in Mullion

This property is advertised as a charming cottage; it is not. It is a convenient bedsit. As a born and bred Cornishman, I know what a cottage is. There was a problem entering the accommodation that did not get our holiday off to the best start. Perhaps our expectations were too high, but we did not expect a bedsit at £500 for the week to require a degree in code cracking. The property is only inches away from one of the main routes into Mullion, so the traffic thunders through from early morning. This might explain why double yellows surround the bedsit. Once in, we found house guests in the form of cobwebs. Sorry, we forget to feed them. There was insufficient hot water to shave in the shower room, so I had to boil the water. The Kitchen is pokey with a twin hob. I'm still trying to figure out what the ironing board was for because there was no iron. It's an easy £500 a week for a bedsit. Oh and if you are thinking of staying whatever you do bring your own towels or you will be buying them when you start your holiday We are staying in Penzance next year. I have checked, and it is what it says it is. Seven days later the owner decided to become difficult. I am assuming it is a result of honest feedback. Reading through the feedback it would appear we are not the only ones to feel deceived by the owner description of the property. I am now taking the matter up with trading standards. Be aware be very aware.

Advertised as having 'free private parking' this is misleading as the parking is a short walk away in a public car park. Parking is one of the main criteria that I look for.
