A really lovely stay, highly recommend.

Lovely location, the owner was extremely obliging & really friendly. she even left us a welcome pack of goodies , that was such a lovely gesture. Nice quality linen & towels provided. A nice relaxed atmosphere. and also being greeted by Orio the owners 16 year old dog every morning & evening , was the icing on the cake bless him.

There is nothing not to like really, but if I was being extra picky, a fresh lick of paint in places would have made it perfect

My only problem was the distance from the car park though less than 50m it made me breathless on the walk but the pathways were nice and flat

Great stay. Would definitely stay again. Quiet and comfortable.

Comfortable and quiet. Good location. Very easy to find and all went smoothly. There was a little games room with free pool table, table football and table tennis that my 8 year old son enjoyed.

Hot water in one of the bathrooms was intermittent.

Pleasant place and with work would be great

Nice peaceful location, comfy bed and bedding, friendly hosts , nice welcome basket , dog friendly,

No net curtains so other people can see in to property, no closed off garden so had to wait until another dog there disappeared to let mine out, cleaning needs some work overall , smelt damp and my clothes when came home smelt damp, needs updating and bit more care, things look bit tired in places (things taken off walls and holes left in walls, blunt knives, mismatched kitchen stuff)

Nice break

Quiet and everything we needed

A little outdated, some small issues with cleanliness - the cutlery drawer was a little dirty and the TV stand had dust. Also there was a blanket on the sofa that had a lot of dog hair all over it.

Owls retreat, Hope Farm 5 night stay

It was so relaxing, lovely atmosphere and the dog was a joy to be around. The cats were also very friendly. Location was an easy reaching distance for Brean, Weston-super-Mare, Wells, Glastonbury, Cheddar. Family of 3 and our dog, we had a wonderful time and felt calm in the surroundings. Nice to be able to visit the more lively places and then come back to peace and quiet at night. Hamper of food, tea, coffee, jug of milk, shampoo, soap, washing up liquid were thoughtful touches.

I didn't really see the point of the tables being laid with plates, cups, bowls etc as they all had to be moved to use them. But no big deal, just thought that maybe they would be better packed away in the cupboard so not collecting dust. I had to wash them all before use.

Lovely place and lovely hosts. Made us feel very welcome. Couldn’t fault it.
