Comfortable, clean and quiet!

The cabin was beautifully clean, the hot tub was just what was needed three months postpartum! We loved waking up to see the sheep grazing outside of our cabin, and we had a few visits from the cats too! Staff were very accommodating, sad to have left!

Spacious beautifully designed and constructed, host was very nice and helpful. Asked us during the stay how we both were and how we are enjoying the stay. Very accommodating with my wife’s disability.

A Comedy of Errors… Except I Wasn’t Laughing

I honestly don’t know what I paid for here, because it certainly wasn’t comfort. The “pod” I booked turned out to be roughly the size of an ambitious cupboard, and when we arrived the heating wasn’t even on. Nothing sets the holiday mood quite like shivering in a high-priced shoebox. The sofa looked like it had seen things. The floor clearly hadn’t seen a cloth in a while. And the shower? I’ve had more water pressure standing outside in light rain. It basically blessed my head rather than washed it. Breakfast didn’t redeem anything either. The staff looked like they were operating on a five-second delay and just sort of… existed near the tables. Helpful they were not. For what I paid, I expected at least basic competence. I wouldn’t pay half the price to go through that again — unless I was conducting research on how low standards can go.

A great site

The glamping pod was clean and comfortable. The site was well set out with great facilities. We only stayed for 1 night as a stopover for a long journey so didn't have the opportunity to make use of them but can imagine its a great place to stay, especially in summer for families.

Wonderful farm night experience

Cute little log cabins, got everything we need.

It was little bit too dark as we arrive late, struggle to find the cabin as it located at the end. If there’s a map of cabins at the cabin entrance gate will be very helpful.

Lovely stay

Stayed for two nights in one of the small glamping pods. They are well equipped with stuff. It was very clean too. Absolutely stunning location. We had a breakfast at the cafe bar, customer service was exceptional and the breakfast was lovely. All in all, a lovely stay.

Beautiful escape self contained luxury

Beautiful grounds Beautiful hut, high quality furnishings Peaceful escape:0) Walking distance to The Healing Weekend festival. Loved ensuite, rather than having to go outside for toilets and shower. Loved internal kitchen with fridge. Fridge so quiet. All self contained, so convenient beautifully done. Has extractor fans for the kitchen and ensuite, so not humid. Thoughtfully done. Think it had USB charging sockets too? Farm shop and cafe fabulous Loved the sheep roaming around. Would have taken part in activities such as canoeing, had we stayed longer, although a bit pricey for us.

Couldn't get the electric hobs working Shower temperamental Couldn't lock door- as only staying for one night and could lock valuables in car, not a real issue. Messaged host, who was lovely and got back to me quickly, saying would fix. :0) Quite expensive per night charge, making it a one nighter for us I guess you are paying for the escape

Site was lovely and the pods and cabin comfortable and well equipped.

It was a pity that the restaurant was closed all weekend and even the bar and cafe were only open very limited hours. The site would benefit from some additional facilities…such as a games area or barn.

Ok but not luxury

The archery onsite activity was great.

We stayed 1 night in Blueberry hut. It was ok but basic not luxury. The beds were not made, not even the main bed. The patio was not large enough to fully open the accommodation door as the tables and chairs were blocking the door. Staff was helpful but everything onsite was costly.

Beautiful yurt, chilled site, great activities with top level instructors!

The yurt was beautiful, very chilled site, great activities and the staff were amazing. Especially the activity guys, they made every activity huge amounts of fun and were great guys, friendly and personable. A real asset to the site. We loved the firepit area just 30 seconds walk from the yurt, farm shop fairly well stocked and toasties from the cafe were delicious.
