Beautiful lodge, very clean and comfortable

The lodge was beautiful and very clean, the bed was super comfy and the welcome tray was a lovely surprise and had all of our favourite treats 😊 We also had passes for the holiday park which meant we could get 50% off Brean Splash. We had everything we needed and more, and contrary to the listing we were provided with a tea towel! Also there's a freezer and a hairdryer which wasn't included on the itinerary so it was handy for storing ice lollies. Showers were really good, TV has all the apps and phone signal was good. I'd definitely recommend this lodge, we really enjoyed our stay here.

The listing was a bit misleading as it stated 1200ft to the beach, which was our primary reason for booking. In fact it was half a mile walk which is a big difference. If we'd have known it was that far we probably wouldn't have booked it. Also,there was a bit of confusion about our booking and I found Sykes extremely difficult to get hold of before our stay. Not responding to messages and couldn't contact them by phone. Very stressful. Only way I managed to speak to them was to pretend I wanted to buy a holiday let and then the lady was rather rude. Once we had the keys however, they were 100% more helpful. It has put me off using them again though.

Everything ticked the box for location. The lodge was amazing - only thing we couldn’t find easy was the lodge number as wasn’t on any emails ?

Designe and layout of the property, comfort and open planning.

Instructions in the booklet how to operate cooker. Noise from thin walls and flooring at night. Nowhere to store bikes. Later finish for disabled, elderly with diabetic issues. Code for car entry not always reliable.

Stunning Lodge!

Being one of the first people to have stayed here, the Lodge was pristine, everything was new/fresh and so tastefully decorated. Comfy beds and pillows, soft fluffy towels, coffee machine, and lovely sofas to lounge in.

Nothing negative to say about this property. I think I would have liked some restaurant recommendations or takeaway details, but thats no reflection on the property which was perfect!
