Beautiful barn stay with friends, will be back next year.

Location was perfect for the event that we were attending over the weekend, and a lovely drive from Glastonbury tour. The hosts left a cute little hamper of treats and a note on arrival. There were 10 of us staying in total and it was the perfect size.

The only downside was that one of the toilets wasn't working for our stay. That being said, the hosts called us in advance to let us know, and gave us a late checkout as compensation. It was dealt with brilliantly.

Fairy tale Christmas barn

We stayed as a family for Christmas and it was magical. So much care and attention had gone in to getting the place ready for us. All the amalenities were as described and excellent.

The water system is old and the showers furthest from the boiler took a long time to get warm and had pressure issues. We ended up buying some wine glasses because there wasn't a full set for the 6 of us, which felt odd, but we left then so thry are there for you.

We had a lovely family get together in a tranquil setting.

Beautiful barn conversion, tasteful and full of rustic charm. There was a great welcome pack and pumpkins in place for Halloween, lovely touches.

Mattresses in Bed in the loft and smaller double were quite uncomfortable. My husband slept on the sofa the second night.

A beautiful place for a really relaxing weekend with family

Loved the house, everything was provided including childrens toys. There was plenty of parking. Cots and high chairs were all provided making for a stress free stay. Plenty of showers, toilets for all to use. Instructions given for ease of using all amenities

Our only downside was corkscrewgate - somehow managed to break the only bottle opener in the property. Tried the neighbours but as its so remote, we were not able to walk to the nearest store for a replacement.

Amazing and big

August weekend in countryside paradise!

We stayed here in August 2025 for my husband’s birthday and it is honestly such a lovely quiet place to stay. The downstairs area is absolutely huge- we were referring to the east and west wings as to which way you needed to go for the different rooms. There were 8 of us and there was more than enough room! The bedrooms were comfortable and the mezzanine and corridor bedroom were fine for our younger members. It was all well equipped with a lovely touch of some games to play too. I thought it was very reasonably priced for the space that it had and the fact we went in peak season. Thanks to the hosts who were responsive with any questions I had as I tried to coordinate a surprise weekend with several family members.

Fantastic home and location.

Beautiful property and lovely touches like the welcome basket of goodies. The biking girls loved it and only a short walk to a good pub with food. Great ride out location for the surrounding area. Thank you 🙏

Great family break in a lovely house close to the seaside.

Welcome basket was a lovely touch . We did not meet the hosts but they were contactable and left us a welcome note. All of the extra luxuries that usually cost extra or you take your own. Well equipped kitchen . Kids loved the rocking chair. Plenty of chairs , cushions and throws. The barb b Q set up for us and condiments in the kitchen.

The shower in the wet room did not have any power. Not a complaint, but the two shower screens need attention too.

Beautiful home away from home for family/friends to gather

We loved the decor, the location and the comfy beds! Loved the board games and the toys for the children. The garden area is gorgeous. The photos don’t do the property justice! The hosts are responsive and helpful and the welcome note and hamper was such a lovely touch! Adored the coffee machine! Would definitely recommend and return.

One of the beds is in the hallway/on the landing which we hadn’t realised. We made it work though! You can see through one of the bathroom’s door handle holes (due to glass door design) and that made some of our party anxious when using the loo but we worked around it.

It was a family meet and perfectly provided all we needed for our weekend stay.

The Barn is lovely. A personal (hand-written) card and note of welcome was very nice, together will a basket of goodies. Plenty of space, super garden, and Michele and Connor have taken care to provide a very well-supplied kitchen; not just one or two tea bags or coffee but plenty. This is the first I have booked online - my daughter tells me it is exceptional, so well done and thank you.

Unless I missed it in the helpful welcome pack, we could have done with confirmation of what recycling is done locally as different councils do things differently! I am keen to recycle as much as possible but it wasn't clear to me what could go where. Tins, paper, together or separate? Here in Windsor Borough we have three receptacles (small food waste, card/paper/cans/foil/bottles, and non-recyclable for infill).

Exceptional The Barn

The property is so lovely ..perfect size to celebrate daughter's 40th Birthday (family of 10) so clean & tidy..everything you would need is catered for...just loved the log burner..was so lo ely being able to bring 2 little dogs and having an enclosed garden for safety..Close to weston-super-mare & Burham- on-sea. A lovely welcome Pack which catered for Adults & Children. Will certainly be back again tha nkyou Michelle & Connor Denise & family

Warm, welcome and great value.

When we arrived the house was stunning, there was 8 of us and we all slept comfy and loved the house. A welcome hamper was a lovely touch. We will be staying again, felt like home from home, would love to stay in the summer

Only one complaint and thats due to having a young Child was internet speed. But plenty of games and stuff there to keep us all busy.
