Location and having own space .
Poor outside lighting by back door steps. One of our party fell as the bottom steps could not be seen

A cabin with two bedrroms, living room, terrace, well equipped kitchen and an electric fireplace. A pub in the near village, close to Cheddar and Bristol airport. A cafe to serve hot food from 8 to about 3pm.

Originally staying for two nights. We were under the impression that it was on a farm so a little disappointed to find out that there wasn’t much to do. The cafe was a bonus but this felt overpriced for what it was. I have to agree with the other reviews regarding the beds. This is why we had to cut our stay short. The beds were really hard, a soft mattress topper would help. The lodges are lovely but it’s close to a busy road so the car noise is a lot, if you want peace. We had tea bags, coffee, sugar, biscuits and milk left but they felt basic.
