Casas de Ruumar Bed and Breakfast-Bar-Two rooms for family available

This is a hidden gem in the North of Bohol. Even my wife’s family, who live in nearby Clarin, didn’t know about it! If you’re looking for a traditional Filipino guest house I would certainly recommend Casas de Ruumar. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. All have air-con and a floor-standing fan. There are also mosquito screens fitted to all the windows which is a great touch. The gardens here are beautiful, the pool is crystal clear and regularly cleaned, and the breakfast is amazing! I’ve not had such a great breakfast anywhere else in the Philippines other than at five star hotels in the city. Regarding the staff, both owners Rudi and Maria are perfect hosts, and cannot do enough for you. They are welcoming and super friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. Their helper, Donna, is a delight. She was on hand to aid us whenever we needed it and always with a beautiful smile. We will definitely be returning here whenever we are in Clarin, and I would recommend this place to anyone travelling around Bohol.

There’s nothing I didn’t like about Casas de Ruumar. But one thing I would say to anyone coming here by car, don’t bring a big car, as although there is parking inside the property grounds, it is quite tricky if you have a large car.

Lovely place to stay, very cosy, very clean and run by exceptional hosts and staff. Very helpful, very accommodating and very pleasant people. We'll not just stay here again in the area, we look forward to it! Maria provided quality food, made with passion and good sized portions, well presented and tasty 😋

Nothing, we really like it here

Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt in der Unterkunft. Sie ist mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet, dass man richtig zur Ruhe kommt. Die Gastgeber sind so herzlich, hilfsbereit und einfach liebenswert. Das Frühstück hat uns sehr sehr gut geschmeckt.

Literally everything. The quality of all offered services refers more to a 5 Stars accommodation than to an average BnB. Especially the well maintained garden, the great pool and last but not least the breakfast are extraordinary.
