About this house rental
This large, well-appointed home is a great home base for relaxing, socializing, family entertainment and as a launch pad for all the area's activities.
Drive within 45 minutes to fishing and boating at Georgetown Lake, skiing at Discovery Ski Area, and 15 minutes to Fairmont Hot Springs Resort. Golf fans - this is your spot! Our home backs up to the featured hole at the popular Anaconda Country Club course, and only 15 minutes from the Jack Nicklaus designed Old Works Golfcourse and the Fairmont Golf Course.
Our home is situated on two peaceful acres in the rural community of Opportunity, only 6 miles from the charming historic town of Anaconda.
The estate is filled with extra amenities for a family or group getaway!
-The MAIN FLOOR is the heart of the home, featuring a soaring great room with attached sunroom, fully appointed kitchen with dining room, king master suite with a steam shower/bath, two other bedrooms, another full bathroom and laundry room with utility sink.
-The UPSTAIRS LOFT includes two twin beds, a comfy chaise perfect for enjoying a good book or a nap, and cushy recliners for chilling out and gazing out at the golf course and creek.
-For your entertainment pleasure, the FULL BASEMENT offers a luxurious home theater, custom-made bar, game room, exercise equipment and even a full bath with a dry sauna!
-Step OUTDOORS and soak up the sites and sun with a huge 2-level deck complete with BBQ, seating for all your guests, and a rocking bench for those warm summer evenings. Or gather by the fire in a our Spanish-inspired courtyard with wood fireplace.
-Don't forget play time! Stay home for outdoor sports on the large grassy area such as badminton, soccer, volleyball, horseshoes, and more! Or venture out for hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, skiing or 4-wheeling.
-The property is directly across the street from a lovely community park with a walking trail, playground and an event pavilion. Ask us for details if you are planning a wedding, reunion, birthday party of other event!
-The city of Butte is 20 minutes away for additional restaurants, services and shopping, plus historical mining tours.
PET INFO: Our home is dog-friendly for one or two well-behaved dogs. (Sorry no cats) Please tell us about your furry friends with your booking request. We do have a dog kennel where you are welcome to leave your dog(s) if you head to dinner or elsewhere without them. However, the backyard is NOT GATED and is open to the Golf Course, so not ideal for pets that tend to run away - a leash is essential for them.
APARTMENT ON PREMISES: The guest apartment above the garage is rented. Tenants may share the driveway and courtyard space, but the large deck and grassy area between the home and park is all yours! Please note the No Parking sign in front of the garage as the tenants do need access to that entrance.
RV parking is available for guests, please contact us for details. (No sewer hookup but 20-amp power and potable water can be available for additional fee)
NO PARTIES: We welcome guests to gather, but we are not set up for events beyond the guests being hosted. If you have a few local family or friends who would be visiting but not staying over, please contact us for pre-approval.

This was by far the most incredible place we have ever stayed at. Not only was it clean but had plenty of space and so many personal touches that it felt like we were staying at our dream home. It is the perfect place for large families, amazing outdoor patio, and the serene setting by the golf course. We did everything from play volleyball, frisbee in the large yard with the most plush lawn I have ever walked on- to playing basketball at the park in the next block. It is sure to appeal to people of all ages with the unique attributes like the theater, wet bar, game room, gong, train whistle, and even a Dr. Who ti.e machine. Also 10-20 minutes from either Butte or downtown Anaconda, and plenty of hiking and biking all around the area. Red Mountain is a great hike nearby that we did. We will be staying here again. Thank you for the wonderful visit.
