Spacious House North of Gunnison

House was beautiful very spacious. Pool table was so fun the whole family enjoyed it. Saw a lot of mule deer on the property. Very peaceful place close to a lot of things to explore. Host were amazing and welcoming.

All of us (5) traveling to visit family in Gunnison are between 60 and 74 years of age. We loved watching the goats and their kids (and petting them) as well as the other domestic animals and wildlife. It was a very pretty and relaxing setting. The grill was great and loved being able to sit on the patio and enjoy the fire. Interestingly enough this home belonged to my son's former employer before his retirement and move out of state. So it was easy for my son and his family to find us at our rental. They had been there many times in the past. A couple of things that would have improved our stay and rating of the property. There were wet towels hanging in the bathroom in the basement on our arrival. That bathroom tub/shower was extremely slick and very unsafe. My brother and SIL had to stop using it as they were afraid of falling. (And they were the youngest of us 5 staying there!) The Smart TV is located in the master bedroom upstairs and did not work. It didn't kill us to not watch TV of course. After all, we were there to see family that we hadn't seen in two years. The kitchen pot rack above the stove was very dirty. A few more places to sit in the living room would be helpful. We brought in our lawn chairs to use when family came to eat with us or hang out. Also used some of the lawn chairs from the patio on occasion. By the way, we all enjoyed the pool table, even though my son whooped up on us all!
