Loved the convenient location with the convenience-gas station just below. Surprisingly it was very quiet as everything closed at 8pm.

Loved the property as a base for all the surrounding area and activities. Just wished it was within walking distance of town and the blind curve just make sure you take your time getting onto the road.

There were quite a lot of bugs in the room and the shower temperature was constantly fluctuating. Of course they are in the woods so a bug here or there is fine but we saw quite a few of them during our stay.

We visited Ouray to see the colors of Fall. Even through the rain and fog, everything was yellow.

The short walk to the Restaurant was nice. However, I would of liked to of had at least a few solar lights along the trail, as it was pitch black at night.

The room was great! We loved having the kitchen and a lot of space. The room was very clean. We were also able to park right outside the room, which was a huge, unexpected plus.

The price was very high. The bed in the room was a full or queen and was very hard to share. It was also high off the ground and a bit lumpy.

Location is great. Close to town and right by the river. We had a queen lodge room (not a cabin). Beds were very comfy. Lots of pillows. Nice and clean. Friendly staff.

The room did not have a closet, just drawers and wall hooks. Fine for a couple of days stay.

Ouray is beautiful as is so much that we’ve seen of Colorado.

First thought it odd that our room was basically over a convenience store but loved the furniture and the location so close to the river.

Only complaint that’s not the property’s fault was some loud guests using the hot tub area.

Ouray is delightful and never disappoints. This hotel is a great place to stay.

The room was really clean, the location close to everything, there was a wonderful restaurant on the premises, and the staff was polite and effective. The check-in and check-out process was simple and convenient, and there were no hidden charges. The owners sent us a lot of messages, among them a warning about bear activity, which is considerate and highly appreciated.

The pillows were so hard that it was impossible to sleep on them. We would have preferred to have breakfast included in the price.

Nice but falls short in a couple areas.

Location was great. Nice to have the convenience store located onsite.

The rooms need more seating options. Only two chairs. Beds are way too high to sit on. The rooms also need more hooks and places to put luggage to get everything off the floor. Especially in the bathroom area, you could add 8 hooks and a small table for toiletries. The beds were not that great. I kept falling into the middle of the bed. My back was so sore after two nights. Please invest in better beds.

A little gem in Ouray

This was the first time my husband and I stayed at this resort and we will definitely stay there again. Super cute, comfortable bed (we stayed in the hotel), although I think next time we'll reserve a cabin on the river. Great location. This place has everything you need.

No a/c uncomfortable beds no elevators and cafe food was not worth $16 a person it was like eating free continental breakfast from a motel but instead you had to pay! Our room was connected to another room and we could hear our neighbors pretty clearly.
