The Barn - Uk35753

Fabulously secluded cottage on a farm with about 4-5 other converted cottages. Quite isolated so amazingly quiet. But Tesco only 5 mins drive away. Some amazing country track dog/ human walks immediately from the front door. Panoramic views. Sofa and armchairs were very comfortable - often lets a property down if seating isn't comfy. I opted for the recliner armchair so perfect!! Spacious lounge. Attached kitchen with plenty of space for provisions. Washing machine and dishwasher with tablets for both kindly left for our use. Small enclosed patio area with sun chairs and drying line ideal for dog, although small wall into neighbouring patio could be a problem if sunny and everyone is outside at same time. Owner's dog had a habit of popping over the wall so be careful if you have a reactive/ protective dog; although he was a friendly chap.

Shower flow was poor, but this is the middle of the countryside, off mains so can't really grumble. Water was hot enough. Not enough though for a bath. Double bed mattress was a bit hard for us but we are used to a soft topper on ours. Again not a real issue but thought I'd mention it
