The Threshing Barn - Uk35754

Everything! The whole barn was furnished & equipped to ensure a fully relaxing & restful stay. We loved the comfy sofas that enabled one to sink in & rest with one's feet up in front of the large TV. The large dining table was amply big enough for any board game we took with us. The washing machine was easy to use for the odd wash, the clothes drying quickly on the airer provided in the warmth of the barn. We loved the Christmas decorations that welcomed us in to a magical wonderland on our arrival. We met Tony, on our way out one day, our host ; he was very friendly & helpful with ideas of places to visit & pubs to eat in. Sharon, his wife, who manages the cottages, left us an absolutely delicious cream tea with homemade scones to devour when we had unpacked the car! There was no real need to leave the farm to enjoy ourselves, although we did have some fun trips out. The utter cosiness, comfort & quietness of the place was totally idyllic & just what we needed.

Beautiful surroundings. Had everything you needed in the Barn. Lovely walks around farm and free to wonder where you like. Highly recommend Underfloor heating a nice touch downstairs

Nothing that we didn't like!

The setting is lovely. There are several holiday cottages on this working farm and the views across the fields to the estuary are stunning. Perfect for our dog's first holiday. He loved the farm and you are free to wander anywhere, which is amazing.
