It was clean and breakfast was good

There was absolutely NO internet reception at all On booking.com it was rated as a 9 but should have been a 0 Umbrellas would have been nice on the pool deck to provide the option of shade from the hot sun

Everything was great. We stayed just one night. It was easy to find, we could also park the car and use the pool on the roof, which was empty and great. Breakfast in room was also great.

My kids commented on WiFi which was not working but I didn't really mind.

It was extremely small for 4 people, location was quite far out from the center. The breakfast was terrible, when I asked for gluten free I was told there was no time for them to go to the supermarket. We paid too much for such a small poor facility.

I'm not usually one to post reviews, but something about this stay made me feel it was worth sharing. We received messages asking about our arrival time and tried to provide updates several times while en route—but received no response. Booking.com mentioned a free shuttle service, but this was never acknowledged or offered. When we arrived, no one was there to greet us. After calling, we were told we couldn’t check into our room because it had been extended by the current guest. We were asked to stay in a different room for the night and swap rooms the next morning. We sent a few WhatsApp messages with general questions (e.g., about bus tickets), but again received no reply. Throughout our stay, the front desk remained unmanned. It seems the receptionist covers multiple properties and is rarely on-site. That said, our room was modern, clean, and had excellent air conditioning. It was cleaned daily by friendly housekeeping staff, with fresh towels—including pool towels—provided. Note: If your room is located beneath the pool, you’ll hear frequent noise from above, especially since the pool area is open 24/7. The room had a fridge and sink, but don’t expect a full set of kitchenware—we had just a butter knife, a teaspoon, and one glass. The pool is a standout feature of the hotel, especially due to its positioning. However, it’s let down by limited seating—no sunbeds or umbrellas, just a few desk chairs. The location is slightly tucked away at the rear of the town, but it’s only a 10–15 minute walk into the centre—and that actually turned out to be a plus. Bus stops, a supermarket, coffee shops, and bakeries are just 1–2 minutes away. Overall, this place has the potential to be one of the best in Naxos, but a few improvements would really elevate the experience. Would I recommend it to others? Yes—but with the caveat that attention to detail could make a big difference.

This was a great place for our family to stay in Naxos. It’s in a quiet neighborhood a few minutes walk from the bustling downtown. The room was ideal for our family of four, and the plunge pool on the roof was perfect for my kids to cool off in during the hottest points of the afternoon.

The only thing this hotel was missing was some kind of shade on the rooftop - an umbrella or two would be an easy fix.

We had a lovely stay in Ampelos Residence Naxos. The location was perfect and was a short walk to everything. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Elife the receptionist was so helpful and responded to any of our queries straight away 🥰 We had a wonderful stay here!

The pool was quite small and didn’t have many sun loungers. That was the only downfall but everything else was perfect!

Great welcome and very responsive staff. Walking distance to town. Beautiful decor and great shower pressure. Pool was clean. Breakfast served to your room every morning with a big smile.

Didn’t have much of a great view from our balcony as we were street level. No on site parking but a public parking not too far away.

Had a lovely stay at Ampelos, a spacious room with a really comfortable bed and had plenty of amenities.

The air conditioning unit wasn't working properly

We had a wonderful stay at this centrally located hotel—just a short walk from restaurants, shops, and the port. Our room was beautifully furnished, very comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with a small kitchen and a private balcony. One of the highlights was enjoying breakfast delivered to our room each morning on the balcony, which made for a relaxing start to the day. The rooftop terrace and pool provided nice views of Naxos. Our hostess was incredibly kind and helpful, offering great recommendations for local restaurants and cute villages to explore. Overall, a fantastic experience—we would absolutely stay here again!

We were relocated to sister property Ampelos Casart so this is about that property: loved the apartment, very clean, seems everything new. The breakfast in room was great. 10 minutes walking from beach and center. The rooftop pool amazing for a dip. Elife the receptionist very friendly and always helpful!

The host was waiting for us. Everything was ready when we arrived. Sophie is very courteous and helpful. She is excellent and very responsive. After our first night, we texted her that the internet was weak and asked if she can do something about it, she added another router the next day! Excellent property. The location is great.

The property could be maintained a little better, especially the bathroom fixtures. Nothing major, all are usable.

Accommodation was fabolous in a great location. Bed was super comfortable and the staff were really friendly.

Comfortable and very spacious apartment in an excellent location which was an easy 10 minute walk to Saint George Beach and a 5-10 minute walk to cafes, restaurants and shops. The air-conditioning was fabulous and having a washing machine was a godsend as we were visiting Naxos as part of a 4 week holiday. We stayed for 3 nights and loved the daily clean and change of towels provided. Sofia was a fantastic host and picked us up from the port and dropped us off which was a great service. The rooftop pool was a lovely place to relax!

Our apartment was in need of a bit of maintenance, with a broken toilet seat, door handle, toilet roll holder and shower head. Hopefully those items will be repaired, otherwise no other issues.

Great location. Bed really comfortable. Lovely modern spacious rooms. Pool towels provided and room made up daily. Lift from Port was wonderful.

Doesn’t seem to be maintained well. Towel rail, bedside light and mosquito screen broken. No loungers or parasols by pool (just old, mainly broken chairs). Balcony not cleaned and so dusty that barely usable.

I liked the stylish interior, the roof top with pool and beautiful sunset. it was enough of space for luggage and small table to work with my laptop. The area is quiet too

Was difficult to find, instructions would have been useful as opposed to a link, it is located slightly out of town and not well signposted. Staff not always available on reception. Mini kitchen unit in the room was great, but basics should have been offered I.e. Teatowel and washing up liquid - it's an unnecessary expense when you are only staying two days!
