Lovely peaceful setting and perfect base to venture off to nearby towns of Harrogate, Knaresborough, Wetherby and York. Local dedicated public footpath walk through the golf course to Spofforth Castle ruins was fab...dog loved it...even saw baby deer grazing in the golf course grounds. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Accomodation was lovely and very well equipped. Having an electric car charging point was most welcome too.

We didn’t dislike anything.
We liked everything, however we did find the downstairs bedroom very light at night.

Everything. Peaceful location immaculate property and friendly owners. The welcome pack was very generous and included delicious home made scones and pastries with accompanying jam and cream. All beautifully presented. The owners have given much thought to the potential needs and desires of their guests and have developed a very comfortable home from home feeling with pristine beds, bedding and beautiful bathrooms. The well equipped kitchen has everything to hand for those who like to cook. Thankyou to the Woodward family for a most enjoyable stay. The Roycrofts June 2025
