This is probably the cleanest cabin you will ever rent. It is a great location, halfway between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The theater room was great. Wish we had one at our house. It has a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains and is very private since it sits well above all of the neighboring cabins. We will definitely try to rent this cabin on our next trip back to the Smokies.

Fun place that was tucked away. A little hard to find and get ready for some steep driveways. Plenty of activities for kids and ample space to enjoy great scenery and wildlife. We had some black bear visitors over Thanksgiving!

This is a great cabin in the mountains. Pets are welcome host answer every question in minutes. She let us check in early which was a big help. Drive way is tricky at first to turn around but then was easy. The movie room is a blast, plenty of room and middle of everything. Must rent if looking for a great place. Will book again.

We had an amazing stay and found the cabin to be exceptionally clean. I particularly loved the detailed instructions on how to use all of the electronics which made the movie room our favorite spot!

My family and I had a great stay at this lovely and spacious cabin! The host, Phoebe, was super thorough with instructions and was able to take care of any questions I had right away. Views from the cabin are terrific and all of amenities of the cabin were enjoyed by all. Would definitely rent the same cabin again!

My family and I stayed for a week, beds were comfortable, great views, and the host was responsive to some minor issues. The highlight of the stay though was our evening visitors. We had a single bear one night and 3 came by a couple nights later. Fortunately they minded their own business and moseyed on through the yard. One did make his way up the drive, and on the deck, but quickly changed course, hopped up on the retaining wall, and disappeared up the mountain once we started yelling at it. They were more interested in berries in the bushes and bugs in the old tree stump than us, but it was an unforgettable experience for all!

Phoebe was terrific. Everything in the house was as described but there was even more. Not “starter sets” of anything. Full sized toiletries, paper towels etc. I cooked every day and she had ALL the cookware I needed. We all loved the deck so much; especially our pups. 15 mins into town, to Food City and Mynatt Park for some hiking trails. Perfect for our family of 6!

House is right o top of hill, very curvy and incline to get to house,no neighbors on back or side, steep hill to get to house,house was clean, hot tub was functional but for longer stays I would recommend a clean out of the tub after 4th day, very spacious, lots of utensils inside the house, 9 beds total available, easy home acces, I would recommend an additional door stopper asa safety feature,

The property was wonderful. Great location and views! Very spacious as well both inside and out, never felt crowded at all. In my search, many places were right on the edge of a cliff but this had a nice spacious property and grassy area so we felt safe with young kids there. Had a slight issue with the hot tub not warming up right away, as it was drained/cleaned/refilled prior to our arrival, but Phoebe was very attentive in responding to our needs and having someone come out to check it the same day and get it to working order. Only slight glitch was it being a little confusing in getting up to the property as you come off the main road, as you still wind up around other properties, so perhaps a sign/arrow pointing which way to go once off the main road would help (unless there is one that we just missed!) since there are several homes accessed in the same spot, but truthfully it wasn’t a big issue and not worth reducing the rating about—everything else compensated! Overall, we really enjoyed the property and would happily stay again :)

We travel often with the grandkids. Years of travel. This house has the best set up for a relaxed, comfortable, everything needed vacation ever. The “children’s level” has comfortable bunk beds with upscale mattresses and bedding. Rooms are spacious. In the other room on that level is a full wall theater screen, a gaming console, and a pool table. Despite long days at Ober Mountain doing winter sports and a day in Pigeon Forge at the Titanic Museum, classic car museums etc. the children still could occupy themselves while we fixed dinner in the fully equipped kitchen. Add to that comfortable mattresses in all the adults bedrooms, spectacular views, spotlessly clean hot tub. Publix is 12 minutes away in Pigeon Forge. Communication with owner was easy, prompt, and pleasant. Her housekeeper came personally to help me understand how everything worked. We hope to return. It was difficult to persuade the children to leave.

Great facility. We enjoyed the awesome view. Everything was in working order, clean and well cared for. We all enjoyed the large table so we could eat together. The deck was equipped with plenty of rocking chairs so everyone could enjoy being together. We would highly recommend this beautiful accommodation.

The house was perfect for our Gatlinburg vacation. The views are spectacular. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the beautiful sunrise over the mountains. The house had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and had nice pots/pans for cooking. The decor is super cute and we loved the open layout and all of the windows. The downstairs is awesome! Great spot for kids/ teenagers or adults. The big screen was a treat when watching sports. Movies would be great too. I cannot say enough good things about this rental. Wound highly recommend.

Just a perfect setting, with panoramic views. Even had two bears visit, which was very cool. Beds were comfortable and slept well. Phoebe answered any ?s, within minutes. I inquired about a gas grill and she had a brand new one delivered. Wow ! Perfect week and will be back !

Our family had a great stay. Phoebe was very responsive when I needed her. The property was spacious and well kept. The location is very high in the mountains, which we didn’t realize since it was our first time in TN. Beautiful views but something to keep in mind if you prefer flat land (walking and/or driving) and being walk to town.

Overall, this was a great place. Only feedback to property manager is that shower curtain is moldy and upstairs toilet does not shut off without jiggling the handle a few times. But otherwise, property is fantastic.

This house is beautiful, and super cozy. We searched for hours trying to find the best VRBO that fit our needs, and this one easily took the lead. You’ll be able to enjoy the incredible views from inside and out. Phoebe is extremely responsive, and extremely accommodating as well. I needed an extra monitor for work, and she provided it at no extra charge. Although our flight was delayed 12 hours, Phoebe was able to arrange an early check-in for us which was super thoughtful considering we have two small children. Overall a great experience!

This was a beautiful house in the mountains, exactly as shown in the listing. The house was clean, had amazing views, and was perfect for our family of 10+. While there, we had a couple of questions about the house and Phoebe replied right away and was very helpful. Highly recommend to any family who wants the ultimate Smoky Mountain experience while staying in Gatlinburg.

We throughly enjoyed our vacation in Gatlinburg. The house was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the large deck for morning coffee and cooking out in the evening. Watching movies on the large screen was fun for all of us. The house provided ample space for each family member to have privacy when desired and the shared spaces were large enough for our family of 10 to enjoy each other. Great vacation!

Very nice cabin. Plenty of room for a big family. Our host was great to work with. Allowed both are pets to come too which was a huge plus for my stay. The cabin clean and the hot tub was clean too. Definitely would stay again. Driveway is steep but had plenty of parking. Close to gatlinburg and pigeon forge.

My extended family planned this trip to celebrate her 90th birthday. The house was perfect for gatherings so many amenities to keep everyone occupied. We have some amazing visitors on our first day a mama bear with her cubs. What a treat!

Had a great week at Bear Woods Lodge! The property was just as shown in the listing. Well appointed kitchen and comfortable beds. Would definitely stay here again. If you have a large vehicle, definitely don't try to turn right onto the final street where the home is located. Instead, go down the street turn around and enter that way. We did the same thing leaving rather than making the sharp left.

We were in Gatlinburg about two years ago. Grandpa stated next time we go let's get a cabin with a view. Boy, did this cabin have the view! The inside of the cabin was beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. Almost every night we had movie night in the downstairs room. All around this cabin was amazing. Thank you for sharing this cabin!

The communication with the host was absolutely wonderful. We had some trouble with our hot tub and after a few days it was fixed. Our concerns were as follows: Not enough towels and no dish cloths or rags. I did not bother the host with these small issues as we were requesting concerns with the hot tubs. I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the floors, and the up keep of the property. I wish more people treated the property with respect. Dings on the walls, stains on the white carpet and several towel hangers were off the walls. One last thing, that cannot be changed...there is no bathroom in the basement area where the pool table is located and only one general bathroom upstairs for three bedrooms. There is a master, but that could not be shared with the other bedrooms. Just something to note. It is a beautiful place that just needs a little attention.

This cabin at the top of the mountain was perfect for our family of 7. Views were incredible, sunrise was spectacular. Home was well stocked with essentials. Great location in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge/Dollywood. At the end of the long weekend, the hot tub the final evening was amazing! We love Christmas decorations in the Smokies and weather cooperated so we had the perfect time!

What you see in the listing is what you get! Very clean, well equipped, and accommodating for a family of all ages. Close proximity to all area attractions. When not out and about there is much to do at the property. We spent a couple of rainy days mostly in the lower level (8)adults (6)kids 1-8 years old playing games and watching movies. The wrap around porch with all of the seating allows beautiful panoramic views with a occasional view of Smokey🧸 Easy to use electronics(tvs, projector, and sound systems). Host is very customer oriented with communication, and promptness of any issue. If you have a larger group, I highly recommend this property!
