Gawhra B&B

Lorenzo was an excellent host – as soon as I arrived he helped me understand where to go in the local area. He cooked a fantastic breakfast fresh each morning and was always on hand with ideas for where to eat each evening. The room was lovely, it felt like it had real character and got wonderfully dark with the shutters closed. I got a good night's sleep every night! Victoria is a lovely town and Gawhra B&B is a lovely, authentic way to experience it. As a solo traveller, I'd highly recommend it and you'll be sure of a warm welcome.

Nothing – a perfect stay!

The property is exceptionally clean and tidy. Everything in the room is in good or new condition. Mosquito nets are completely intact. The window doors make a satisfying click sound when you open and close them. Mattresses are brand new and chosen with care. The balcony is surrounded by blooming flowers. Toilet and shower work flawlessly. Hot water is boiling hot. The air conditioner works as expected with the cooling being felt immediately. The house has history and beautiful appearance both from outside and inside. Location provides escape from the main streets but keeps you only a couple of steps away from the centre of Victoria’s life. Breakfasts are light and delicious. Mr. Lorenzo creates family and caring atmosphere which makes you want to stay for a couple more days.

There is nothing we did not like, and we would have liked to have stayed for longer.

From the moment we entered this enchanting hotel wonderful hosts made us feel at home. They went out of their way to accommodate us, recommended what to see in the neighbourhood, shared their stories and tips. Good size rooms, quiet, peaceful. Delicious light breakfast.
