We had a lovely stay at 49 Sunrise Lodge in Għajnsielem, Gozo. The place was spotless, welcoming, and especially dog-friendly—we brought our small dog with us and had no issues at all. The cooked breakfast was excellent and made the stay even better. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay in Gozo.

James, the host, was very welcoming and provided all recommendations about places to see, or where to eat. The swimming pool was just perfect, the place is 15 min from the port, there is a bus stop just nearby, and a grocery store. The breakfast was really nice. We wished that we stayed a bit longer in Gozo.
Just for awareness - there is no elevator, so you need to use stairs. For us it was not an issue but for some people it might me.

The location was central to supermarkets, great restaurants etc. the rooms were very comfortable. James, our host was always on hand to answer any queries we had. His communication before we got to the accommodation was excellent. Breakfasts were great. Overall I would highly recommend Sunset Lodge.

We stayed at Sunrise Lodge for a weekend break. Our room was very spacious and equipped with a ceiling fan, a/c, fridge and ample wardrobe space. Place was spotless. The pool is a good size and towels for use on the sunbeds are provided by the property. The breakfast is cooked fresh in the morning and you can choose between around six or so options. They also prepared a gluten free option for me since I am coeliac, which was very much appreciated.
We were very happy with our stay there and would gladly re-visit. If we may pass on a small suggestion, the tables where breakfast is served are very close together. It would be better if they are spread out a bit more so that you are not so close to the next table, especially since the room is large enough to provide another set up.
