The best St Peter's view

The views from the apartment and the roof top terrace were exceptional. The location of the property with its proximity to the Vatican and a short walk to the Metro and bus shuttle to the airport was a major bonus. Geri was very helpful and his restaurant recommendations proved to be very well informed. We would thoroughly recommend Il Sorpasso. Also, we loved our fresh delivery of croissants every morning and the coffee machine.

We loved the apartment. It is small, but that was fine for us. If we were being super critical a slightly softer mattress would have been great.

The view from the window is what you experience during your stay night and day. The host could not be more helpful during our stay plus the location to all the main sites are easily walkable. You have all the amenities to stay in and eat in the evening after a long day sightseeing with mini markets within 50 metres. Restaurants surrounding you plus taxi rank 100 metres if you do not fancy awalk Do not expect oppulence when you arrive here but expect to feel that you are living in the community of Rome with the best view. Which includes the Papal residency crazily. Fantastic experience and will be here next time we come to Rome.

This is not about what we didn't like. Remember accesible access is not available until after the steps to the first floor but a lift is then available. The size of accomodation is small with open wooden stairs up to a bathroom which is perched above your room. The standard of cleanliness and bed are not great but we found ourselves falling in love with the fact we were just living life as a local.

Die Lage war top, vor allem die Dachterrasse ist sehr schön mit dem Blick auf den Petersdom. Hier könnte man mit den entsprechenden Gartenmöbeln und ein paar Pflanzen bestimmt noch mehr heraus holen.

Die Wohnung ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Alles macht ein bisschen einen abgewohnten Eindruck. Die Steckdose im Bad war defekt, die Fliesen in der Dusche müssten mal sauber geschrubbt werden. Die Buchung mit Frühstück bestand darin, dass uns der Vermieter jeden Morgen 3 Gebäckstücke vor die Tür gelegt hat. Die Kaffeemaschine ist undicht und auch nur für Espresso.

Authentic Italian apartment. Excellent location. Beautiful view from the window and from the terrace. It was nice that there were fresh flowers in the vase. A good choice if you don't plan to stay indoors for a long time, but your goal is to enjoy Rome.

I'm not lowering the rating because of that, but we didn't get breakfast any day (even though it was mentioned in the booking offer), thank you for the coffee which was left to be prepared. There is no balcony in the apartment, even though it is mentioned in the description. Be prepared that you will have to take care of shampoo and shower soap. The shower room definitely needs repair and the bed linen should be renewed. These are small details that make me not rate this place as excellent, but good.
