House could be so lovely if owner would spend on it. Costs a lot to stay there so maybe use some of it to put things rig

The property was set on a lovely site which was great for our use. Would be a lovely property too if money was spent on it.

The fact that we arrived to dirty washing sat outside our door for two days and still would have sat there if hadn’t managed to contact someone that finally answered. Table falling apart. Glass in top oven about to fall out, fridge being kept shut by door stop. No light in shower extractor broken. Towel rail came away in main bathroom once put towel on it. Placed was full of cobwebs. Floor very dusty and someone’s shoes that look like been there for ages left. One under sofa and one in kitchen. Someone obviously doesn’t check under things when cleaning.

was a good size for our group, and the place was clean and presentable

Our experience at the property was disappointing due to several management and communication issues. We received numerous messages—at least half a dozen—warning us not to check in before 4:30 pm. While I understand that some of these are automated, it felt excessive, especially considering the early 9:30 am checkout time, meaning we effectively paid for a full day we couldn't use. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was non-existent, and there was very limited phone reception, making it extremely difficult to stay connected. When we tried to contact the property managers for assistance, including to report that the bathroom lights weren’t working, we received no response. This lack of communication was frustrating and unprofessional. The layout of one of the twin rooms was also poorly designed, there wasn’t enough space between the beds to move around or store luggage, making the room essentially unusable. As a result, one of our group ended up sleeping on the couch. It would have been more practical to have a single bed in that space. We were also surprised to find that all the toilet paper rolls had been removed before our arrival, forcing us to make an unnecessary trip to the shops straight away. Small things like this give the impression of cutting corners at the guest’s expense. Additionally, the information about access to amenities like the swimming pool and associated costs was unclear. The property is set within the Kenegie grounds, but the Kenegie Manor seems to have no responsibility or communication with the rental, which only adds to the confusion. Overall, the combination of poor communication, lack of basic amenities, and impractical room layout made for an unsatisfactory stay. If you're looking for a budget rental and don’t mind these issues, this place might suit you. However, if you're after a more comfortable and well-managed experience, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Lovely location.

Lovely cottage nice peaceful location. It was a pity the parks swimming pool was not open until the end of the month. Cottage is well appointed, but some of the fittings and furnishings are getting a bit dated and need of a refresh.

Enjoyable.

The cottage was comfortable and spacious with a well equipped kitchen and an easy to use heating system. It is located in a pleasant rural setting.

The extractor in the kitchen needs to be cleaned. The double mattress in the 2nd floor bedroom needs to be replaced, it was like sleeping on a water bed. The extractor in the ensuite shower room attached to this room needs to be cleaned as it is furred up. In the 1st floor bathroom the hose for the shower should be a chrome finish but was black in places, very unhygienic.

Aucun nettoyage ni changement de draps n'avait été effectué. Impossibilité de joindre le numéros affichés pour demander de l'aide malgré plusieurs tentatives. Lits faits après 3 heures d'attente, mais pas le ménage. Installation dans un logement sale, le ménage n'a été fait que le lendemain matin. Personne n'a ensuite repris contact pour s'assurer que les choses étaient rentrées dans l'ordre.
