Roselands caravan park, Nr Lands End, Cornwall

Excellent location for our trip to Minack theatre and landsend airport. Lovely dog friendly beach nearby near escalls cliff. £5 per day £2.50 for 2 hours. Lovely hosts and very informative on locations to visit. Caravan was exactly what we needed and had a lovely decking area for us and our dog.

Perhaps the dog walking area could be made more useable for running my dogs. Cutting back some of the foliage .

Spacious

We loved the location and we were close to nearby beaches we wanted to visit and close to Penzance which we wanted to explore.

Honestly, nothing really it was exactly what we wanted and thought it would be.

-Fantastic location! -Could see every star in the sky with no light pollution. -Close to lots of beaches. -Very quiet at night. Folder with lots of local information, including dog friendly beaches, local towns and also important numbers like the local hospital, vet etc.

-Smallest caravan we've stayed in as a family of 4, open the bathroom foor and it hits the kitchen bin, but theres no space to move the bin. -Found a couple of fleas on us when sitting in the caravan. Luckily our dogs are flea treated regularly but they started scratching a lot by the end of the week and I've had to bath them with flea shampoo and thoroughly check them once home. Could smell fleas spray when opening cupboards in the caravan. -Had to wash up the glasses and cups before we could use them, they ask guests to wash up before leaving, obviously the people before us hadn't done it properly as we had dried coffee in one of the cups snd dried, sticky juice in a couple of glasses. The cutlery tray had crumbs in it. Maybe a spot check by the owners rather than assuming leaving guests do it properly. -the twin bedroom isn't fit for anyone taller than a toddler, my 15 year old son was scrunched up in the bed, he's small for his age and was too tall for the bed. The beds are very narrow and my 13 year old fell out several times. The beds are also very hard and we've all woken up with sore backs every morning. By the end of the week both teens slept on the sofa, but then ended up with flea bites. -Very dated and in need of some work, rusty radiators, one radiator looks like it has a leak. -One of the lights didn't work making the caravan quite dim in the evening. Given how much we paid and from experience of staying in many caravans over the years, this was probably the most disappointing. We've paid less for bigger, newer caravans before and never had an issue with finding fleas before this one.
