Nice layout, well decorated and equipped

The quirky a/c control system is a real headache. A/C gets turned off automatically to "save energy" even while you're in the room. This meant the master bathroom was always hot during our stay.

Claudia’s home is so wonderful! The location is perfect! So close to so many exceptional places to visit! Right in the heart of it all! And she is a truly responsive host, always ready to offer up help and suggestions for ways to make Mérida stand out as a vacation destination! I loved staying at La Peregrina!! I hope to come through there again! Thank you Claudia!!!

Air conditioning was a bit of a challenge to figure out, initially, but Claudia helped me get it figured out with ease.

This is probably the nicest 'home stay' I've ever booked - the house is absolutely gorgeous and so well laid out. We had a baby with us, so the family stayed in the downstairs rooms and the single person stayed upstairs. Couldn't hear a thing up there, even when the baby woke up at night! The house is super new as well, everything so beautiful and clean! Air conditioning works very well, and lights/fan switches for the indoor/outdoors areas are all well labeled, so you didn't have to guess anything. The house definitely has WIFI, not sure why it says it doesn't - works very well and all over the house/pool area. Location is great for walking into town and also easy for Ubers to find if you want to go further out.
