Located in a quiet neighborhood and with a privileged location, the Tekit house offers you three cozy bedrooms and a spacious kitchen where you can prepare delicious meals with fresh, local ingredients. In addition, one of the rooms has direct access to the charming backyard, where you can relax by the pool and enjoy the warm Merida weather.
We are proud to say that this house is a special tribute to my father, originally from the beautiful Tekit village in Yucatan. In its honor, we have decorated the house with several photographs of this charming place, so that our guests can know and appreciate its beauty and authenticity.

The Tekit house is located on a very quiet street during the day and night, so there is not much noise. Buses to Progreso beach pass by every 20 minutes half a block from the house and buses to the historic center every 10 minutes one block from the house. The best restaurants in the city are located on Paseo Montejo and are less than 500 m away so you can walk!
• DO NOT throw paper on the toilet. In case of clogging it, the plumbing costs are the responsibility of the guest.

We had a great time in Merida. The host was very responsive, the house is perfectly serviceable although, there is no comfortable indoor spot to sit and relax. I’m sure you noticed we moved the furniture a bit. I also think there is a larger overall electrical issue based on our experience,
