On apprécie le jardin accessible (y compris le ruisseau pour tremper les pieds en été et l'âne que l'on peut aller saluer), le calme, la proximité d'Amboise où l'on trouvera, outre le château, de bons restaurants. Il s'agit également d'une bonne base pour visiter d'autres sites, par exemple Chenonceau. L'arrivée, avec parking et hôtes sur place, est facile.
L'escalier est un peu raide et délicat, le store de l'une des chambres n'obture pas assez. Mais ce sont des détails.
