Cozy, tranquil adobe condo (Taos Home Occupation Permit HO-20-2022) nestled in the mountains with scenic views of the Valdez Valley. A peaceful, rustic retreat near Taos, Taos Ski Valley (10 min), and the artsy village of Arroyo Seco. Hiking, skiing, shopping, and rafting are minutes away. Upstairs: two queen bedrooms with en suite full baths, electric fireplaces, and a balcony to enjoy the view. Downstairs: chef’s kitchen, living room with queen sleeper sofa and small vinyl collection, full bath, and open area to relax and grill. Mountain setting with softer, ambient lighting. AWD/4WD recommended year-round.

We had a pleasant stay in this comfortable townhome that worked well for our group of travelers. While we have been to Taos many times, it was our first time to stay outside of Taos. The location was not far to the El Prado part of Taos, where we are partial to some restaurants, especially Orlandos. The deck out front had a nice view and was pleasant for sketching and reading.

Perfect layout for a last-minute summer getaway for two couples. Conveniently located between the city of Taos and the Taos Ski Valley on a quiet mountainside. It was a little rustic, and we had some issues with various remotes around the condo being out of battery / incorrectly placed making TV usage difficult, but not a priority for us. Communication with hosts was easy and quick, and check in was a breeze.

The property is in a great community that is in close proximity to Arroyo Seco and a short drive to Taos proper. We wanted to be closer to the Taos Ski Valley but not completely isolated in the mountains. The amenities in this condo are incredible. Practically every cooking pan and utensil you can think of is on hand. The record player and record collection was thoughtfully curated for all tastes. Would definitely book this home again in any season.
