About this house rental
Come relax in this cozy 4-bedroom, 3-bath cottage on Lake Hartwell. Enjoy plenty of outdoor seating to soak up the sun and taking beautiful lake views and stunning sunsets. The cover dock is just steps away on a level lot with big water access. Paddle over to the nearby cove in the provided kayaks, or unwind on the oversized dock, which features ample seating, a two person swing, and a ladder for easy water access. Please note that water levels are currently lower due to extreme drought conditions; however, boats can still be docked. Inside, you’ll find an open living and dining area alongside a well-stocked kitchen. The living space offers comfortable seating, smart TVs with spectrum service, and high-speed Internet. The dining table seats eight. On the main level, there is a bedroom with a queen, bed and television, along with a full bathroom, located across the hall. Upstairs, the primary suite features a king bed, television, private balcony for morning coffee, and an en-suite bathroom. Two additional bedrooms, each with two twin beds, share a full bathroom. Stunning Sunset views can be enjoyed from nearly every room in the house. When you’re not out on the lake, enjoy ping-pong, cornhole, horseshoes, and a variety of other games. This cozy cottage is tucked away in a peaceful area, yet just 10 minutes from shopping and dining. It’s conveniently located about 10 miles from Clemson, 18 minutes from Anderson University, 30 minutes from downtown Greenville, and two hours from Atlanta – perfect for families, girls, weekends, or gatherings with friends. Parking includes a detached carport for two vehicles, plus a driveway that accommodate four additional cars.

My stay wasn't a vacation. We had to leave our home in the next county while floors were refinished after water damage--right before Christmas. I was pleasantly surprised that the home was decorated for Christmas. That little bit of extra care was a comfort to me.The regular amenities were lovely as well. Karen was very responsive as a host. And the sunsets did not disappoint.Just an FYI--the inside staircase is circular. The outside staircase must be used for getting larger luggage in and out of the upper floor. Fortunately, the outside staircase is well-built, with non-slip treads and a functional railing. (These are features of which I am more conscious since a housemate slipped on outdoor stairs at a different vrbo a few months ago.) There was a light rain the day I moved out at Lake Hartwell, but the stairs were perfectly safe.

The family had a wonderful time at the lake for Thanksgiving. The property was well maintained. The amenities were all there…kayaks, table tennis and games. The sunset was incredible. Very clean and welcoming.

Everything at this property was great! The host did an excellent job with cleanliness and making sure amenities were available & working properly. Would definitely rent from these hosts again.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house is newer and very nicely decorated, with big windows providing great views of the lake. All cabinets in the kitchen were labeled, which was so helpful. Beyond the basic dishes you would expect, they have a nice coffee maker, wine glasses and nice serving dishes. The deck is fantastic with plenty of seating. We enjoyed playing ping pong, horseshoes, and roasting s’mores over the fire pit. The dock is newer and has a table, chairs and a swing. We loved swimming in the lake and using the kayaks and floats provided. It’s really a lovely house and a beautiful spot on the lake. I also liked that it was close to town and only a few miles from the grocery store.
