Superb alpine apartment retreat

Private parking in a good location. Beautiful apartment, very comfortable. Prime views.

Plan on going to dinner early if you aren't going to cook. Most of the restaurant kitchens in the area close at 8pm, even if the restaurants themselves don't close until 10pm.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. The location is wonderful: a quiet place, close to the lake, with a beautiful view of the mountains. The atmosphere was peaceful and comfortable, and it was a pleasure to return after a busy day. We would definitely come back and recommend this place to other travelers!

Fabulous Stay in Stunning Schwangau and the Bavarian Alps

Bergwerk/ Mine (in English) is a fabulous apartment, beautifully decorated with all the cosy comforts of home you require. Bonus was a secure underground parking in the apartment building and an on-site laundry (coin operated) in the basement. Bicycles can be rented directly from Sebastian - a fantastic host who is quick to respond to questions, always available to assist and give guidance during your stay. The apartment has a lovely balcony with stunning views of the Schwangau valley and Allgau Alps. It was great to relax on the balcony in the evenings and watch sunset over the lake and valley area. Schwangau village and the Forgensee Lake are all within a short walking distance from the apartment. Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein Castles are about 4kms from the apartment - great scenic areas to walk or cycle through to reach the castles. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and experienced true Bavarian hospitality - Thank You again Sebastian, we will definitely return to "Bergwerk #no filter" when next we visit Schwangau and Füssen.

Check in was easy, place was sparkling clean & spacious for 3 adults + 1 toddler. It’s located near to attractions (castles, Tegelberg rides) and plenty of food options in the area + Füßen which isn’t too far off.

We were perfectly hosted in true Bavarian hospitality & style.

The host made everything so precisely clear to ensure the best of stays. Before we even got to the property, we were getting tips on where to eat, what to do & the necessary steps to take before entering the property. When my family & I entered the property, it was mind blowing how cool the decor was & how perfectly clean it was, the host had really made it special for us. The cupboards had a few things in them as a "just in case" & the hospitality of the host really shone through. The property is set with a glimpse from the lovely balcony of the view to the castles of Neuschwanstein & Schwangau on the left & Schwann See on the right. It was a truly enjoyable experience, if even for a fleeting visit. I will highly recommend this property and host to family & friends.

Excellent peaceful location. Cute, clean and cozy apartment. 10 min drive to the entrance parking lot for the visit to the Neuschwanstein Castle. Indoor parking available.

A great appartment with a gentleman host!

Everything was great. The location was exceptional. The view from the balcony mind blowing. The location is perfect. You can basically reach all point of interests within 8 mins by car. Mr. Hummels was an amazing host. Not only he is available at all times just in case you need any help he also provide invaluable guidance like places to visit, places to eat, travelling etc. I basically used all his tips and made my tips worth even more.

Very nice location

Lovely flat where we could relax easily in a very nice place. Sebastian was very helpful. A very good host ! We followed his suggestions for some visit and we were really happy by these activities.

Beds were a little bit too hards for us but this was not a real problem for our stay. We appreciated averything else.

Чистые, уютные, тёплые апартаменты с потрясающим видом с балкона на горы и замок Людвига. Удобный подземный паркинг с лифтом. На кухне есть всё необходимое для готовки, хорошая посуда, острые ножи… для детей есть настольная игра, шахматы. Кажется, что эти апартаменты стремятся к идеалу…🙂

Eine tolle, saubere und gut ausgestattete Wohnung :-) mit Tiefgarage und Aufzug, perfekt für Leute die nicht so gut zu Fuß sind. Wir hatten eine sehr gute Zeit mit einem sehr freundlichen, immer erreichbaren Vermieter der sich bei Fragen Zeit für die Gäste nimmt. Im Vorraus schon eine perfekte Einweisung ins einchecken bekommen, so konnte nichts schief gehen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und sagen Sebastian vielen lieben Dank und alles Gute 🍀

Es waren 4 schöne Tage in der bestens ausgestatteten Wohnung mit einem sehr hilfsbereiten Gastgeber. Tolle Lage und schöne Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe!

Oifach schee

Wohnung ist klein aber fein. Vor allem haben wir es sauber vorgefunden. Tolle Aussicht. Hat alles eingehalten wie es in der Beschreibung stand. Top fand ich auch den Tiefgaragenstellplatz. Unser Vermieteter war auch sehr nett, sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben alles über WhatsApp geklärt - alles verlief unkompliziert - besser geht es nicht.

Sehr netter, hilfsbereiter Gastgeber den man jederzeit über WhatsApp kontaktieren kann. Die Wohnung hat eine sehr tolle Lage, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt! Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit hier.

Die Matratze war ein wenig hart aber für 3 Nächte war das vollkommen ok!
