Apartamentos El Beril Costa Adeje

Apartment was 5-min walk from the beach, approx 250m. Entry to the site was secure and the bedroom windows had horizontal blinds and tasteful vertical bars, so you could safely leave the window open both day and night. It had a nice pool and poolside beds & umbrellas. The ceiling-fitted electric fan was useful in the lounge area and the freestanding floor fan helped to keep us cool at night. The maid service was efficient and provided fresh towels and toilet rolls. The balcony/terraced area was large and we sat outside in the shade a lot.

We previously used private apartments on Booking.com with the full range of kitchen utensils, pots & pans, plastic food containers, and ancillary items - cling film, storage areas for tinned items, packets, plus salt, pepper , herbs, sugar, etc.. This flat had the oven, m/wave ,fridge/freezer but there was only minimal cooking utensils ie 1 saucepan, an ovenbaking tray, a roasting tin and hardly any food storage areas. You could cook a pizza, or eggs on toast, but nothing like a full meal and veg. There were no food-related items, condiments, herbs,etc - so you started with an empty kitchen and had to buy everything from scratch. The TV didn’t have streaming apps or capability and BBC News channel was it for English speakers.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was cleaned to a very high standard every day. A big plus is the location , there is an incredibly beautiful beach within walking distance of the hotel. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

The only minor downside is that if your room faces the road, it can be a little noisy at night and in the early morning, as traffic starts from around 6 a.m. However, it wasn’t a major issue for us and overall didn’t affect our stay.

Good location that was actually in a neighbouring complex called Altimira. Apartment comfortable, reasonably well equipped, the pool area was good with plenty of sunbeds available. Cleaners every other day with plentiful supply of towels etc.

The fridge in the apartment was very noisy. Also there was ongoing maintenance work within the complex which I suspect is happening continually as the complex appeared to be quite old. Finally, whilst not detracking from our stay. There had been a fire at the chill out bar area in front of the complex, with remedial work ongoing, which did spoil the overall appearence of the immediate area.
