About this country house rental
Charming and spacious rehabbed farmhouse just 8 min. from Saugatuck, 15 min. from South Haven, 5 min. from the lake and spitting distance to the best area wineries, cideries, orchards and antiquing.
You’ll love the feel of this beautiful Michigan property with the gorgeous trees, historic barn, spacious side & back yard and no neighbors. It's the perfect place to get away from city life with friends & family and experience the best that Southwest MI has to offer.
Enjoy your morning coffee in the light-filled breakfast nook of the kitchen, watch the sunset on your rocking chair on the front porch. There's tons of space for everyone with the formal living and dining room and spacious family room for family games and movies. The huge and private backyard features patio dining, grill, fire pit area, a tree swing and a hammock for lazy days. The house comes outfitted with yard games like boche ball, bags, and croquet. Kitchen is well equipped and ready for family meals.
Every one of the 4 bedrooms has it’s own ensuite bathroom so you won’t have to fight for a shower after the beach. The master bedroom has an attached room with a twin daybed that’s perfect for sharing with young kids. In the room with two twin beds, one of the beds is a trundle which pulls out into a king making it great for a couple with child or 3 singles.
Virtue Cider, Crane’s Pie Pantry and Orchards, a handful of wineries and a local goat cheese farm are just down the road for fun filled days of local tastings. Many beaches can be found in nearby South Haven and Saugatuck, with the gorgeous Oval Beach just a 15 minutes drive away.
Things to note:
- We have outdoor cameras in operation 24/7 for security purposes
- This is an old farmhouse and the windows on the first floor are original and do not open. Open doors if needed downstairs for ventilation. Windows in the upstairs bedrooms are new and do open.

House was spacious as advertised. We went there during extreme cold weather. This froze some of the water lines. There was no water in one of the bathrooms on the first night of the 3 nights we stayed. The host Lauren was very nice and approachable. We had a great time.

The house was beautiful and spacious and had everything we needed for a great stay. Clean, beautifully decorated, well stocked kitchen for cooking and comfy beds! The property itself was truly lovely and we spent almost all of our time on the back patio area. We love the area and how close the house was to so many fun activities. Definitely check out the local wineries! Lauren and Andrew were very communicative and also offered some great local recommendations. This may become our go to rental in the area!

The house was a nice size and accommodated our group very well. The grass and shrubs needed a little tending,but overall a nice place to stay. Some of the towns were not very family oriented, but your place was nice

Lauren and Andrew were exceptional hosts and have a gem of a property. They were great with communication and all check in and check out procedures were manageable and clear. We loved West Michigan and this property. Thanks!!
