About this house rental
2 bedroom 2 bath top floor of 2 unit river house. Unplug and enjoy the beautiful Weeki Wachee river. No TV, no Cable, no WiFi. Disconnect from the rest of the world in this peaceful home with a canoe, two kayaks, floating dock on the canal. Unhook and float down the river towards Rogers Park and up to the springs. No distractions. Inside you’ll have a nicely appointed space with everything you need to cook your own meals or dine at our wonderful restaurants in the Hernando Beach area. The space is the top unit of 2 units so lots of stairs to get up and down to the covered patio area with floating dock on the canal. The second unit is rented to a long term tenant that is currently traveling so you will have the space to yourself. Laundry facility is under the house. Parking space for two cars in driveway. Ping pong table under covered lanai. Linens and towels provided. Lots of games to enjoy your time together without computers, phones or TVs. Take the plunge and unplug your screens so you can reconnect with your family on a deeper level. Ring toss, bean bag toss, board games, cards, and conversation starter games all available. If you’re looking for a comfortable space where you can enjoy the river and each other without distractions this is the place for you.

This is the second time we have stayed at this house and both have been great. It's always very clean, plenty of towels, sheets and amenities. Kathy is always very responsive even late at night. We brought the boats and had a great time. My only complaint is about the AC. When we stayed a few years ago it would not keep up. Despite having a new AC it still wouldn't get the house anywhere under 80-82 during the afternoon which is manageable but still not ideal when you want to cool off after a long day in the sun. I do think some black out or heat repelling curtains would help tremendously. I m sure we will be back!
