Our spacious home (1,790 sq. ft), completely furnished with all its amenities, is within walking distance to coffee shops, Alamo Drafthouse, top restaurants, Zilker Park, hike + bike trail, and Barton Springs Pool. Come enjoy Austin and walk down the hill to take a dip!
The space
This charming cottage - is perfect to explore Austin for a summer sabbatical, remote worker, family vacation, or even to house hunt. Built in 1957 (with vaulted ceiling addition in the 1999) our beautiful 2 bedroom/2 bath home comes fully furnished, with all bills paid, and ready for you to feel at home.
With a designer's eye - the home has a fully-stocked remodeled modern kitchen with brand new luxury appliances, a cozy breakfast nook, two comfortable living rooms (one with a piano; the other with a library of books and TV), plus a dining room for entertaining up to 10 guests.
We enjoy hosting U.S. and international guests from medical professionals and tech employees to vacationers and those relocating to the Austin area.
The Primary Bedroom Suite - filled with natural light, has the most comfortable king Sleep Number bed (with luxury Peacock Alley bedding), private bath (with shower + heavenly deep tub), and convenient washer + dryer. A cozy window seat overlooks the back patio courtyard and gardens under a large red oak tree.
The Second Guest Bedroom - has been completely re-decorated in gorgeous blue and white prints with a brand new queen Sleep Number bed, also with luxury Peacock Alley bedding. The second bathroom is a few steps away.
The remodeled, fully stocked white kitchen - is a chef's dream with all brand new luxury Italian appliances, a powerful gas range, a designated food-prep area with a built-in BLANCO compost system, an eat-in bar, and breakfast nook, and a fresh herb garden right outside the side door.
Excellent central air-conditioning with ceiling fans in almost every room make it easy to cool down in the summers.
Outdoor living - two rustic patios in a garden-filled courtyard with multiple seating options, are perfect for relaxing in the mornings and evenings amidst lush natural landscaping under the shade of a large Shumard Red Oak tree.
Our beautifully decorated and furnished home is located in one of Austin's coolest and safest neighborhoods filled with quaint vintage bungalows as well as many new modern homes. Numerous restaurants and bars are within walking distance.
Perfect location - for the active fitness lover, traveling employee, or vacationing family, as it's right up the hill from Austin's favorite outdoor activities - Barton Springs Pool, Zilker Park, the Greenbelt, the Hike + Bike trail along Lady Bird Lake and more.
