Welcome to Honey Bear Slopes! Step into the comfort of this dreamy A-frame chalet with outstanding modern amenities that are perfect for you and your family! Our spacious 4 bedroom lodge (sleeps 15) is surrounded by stunning views overlooking the gorgeous Smoky Mountains and is only minutes away from all the entertainment and activities of downtown Gatlinburg. With multiple living areas, a bubbling hot tub, theater room, and incredible views, this is Smoky Mountain living at its best!
Overlooking the Smoky Mountain vistas, relaxation awaits you the minute you arrive at Honey Bear Slopes! Inside, you are welcomed by oversized A-framed windows, soaring ceilings, and stunning architectural detailing in the exposed wooden beams and stacked stone fireplace. And the amenities, which include a private outdoor hot tub with screened in lounge area, loft living area, theater room, and a spacious secondary living space with arcade and bar area, there is plenty of room for the entire family to spread out and relax!
The fully equipped modern kitchen, and its inviting dining area, open onto the living room with soaring windows and stone fireplace, setting the tone for many memorable evenings. Once you are ready to rest and relax, make your way to four spacious bedrooms, all of which host comfortable beds, TVs, and luxurious furnishings.

This beautiful home features a total of four spacious bedrooms, tastefully furnished and decorated in classic lodge style. All offer a similar set of amenities and furnishings, including pillows, linens and sheets, as well as night stands with reading lamps.

The private outdoor hot tub is perfect for year-round use! The screened in porch also offers a large seating area with couches and coffee table, perfect for a glass of wine in the evening. Outside, the decks offer you stunning views and sights of the Smokies; feel free to get some dinner and enjoy dining at the table overlooking the mountains and trees.

Bears are indigenous to the area and are often seen near or on our properties. Please do not leave food or trash outside.
Kitchen & Outdoor Cooking: The kitchen is stocked with dishes and cookware. We provide a standard coffee maker or a Keurig, so please bring along your preferred grounds or pods.
Regarding the Grill: While we often have a grill available for guest use, we cannot guarantee its availability or condition for every stay. If it is on-site, please note that propane/charcoal is the guest's responsibility. There may be some left over from previous guests, or you can pick some up at a local shop.

We had such a great stay at this unique A-frame cabin in Gatlinburg! When we first arrived, the cabin seemed a bit small and dark, but once we settled in, we realized it actually offered more space than we needed and had such a calming, cozy feel. The large A-frame window let in beautiful natural light and added so much character.The layout was different but worked perfectly for our group of seven, giving everyone plenty of room to relax. The beds were extremely comfortable — we all slept so well! The gaming console and arcade game were a huge hit, and the hot tub was the perfect spot to unwind on our last evening.We loved the peaceful setting and the mountain view from the back deck and primary bedroom. On our last morning, we were lucky enough to see a momma bear and her two cubs right in front of the house — such an unforgettable moment!The road up to the cabin is a bit steep and could be tricky if wet, but we didn’t have any rain during our stay. We actually chose the higher location for the views, and it was absolutely worth it. Plus, the drive up offered some beautiful scenery along the way.Another bonus was the convenient location — there’s a great little pizza place and a small market just down the road, which made it easy to grab a few essentials without a long grocery run.Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable mountain getaway!

We had an absolutely wonderful week at this beautiful wildlife retreat!! Our entire family had the opportunity to view and video black Bears and their cubs everyday. Our days were filled with the many activities offered in the area. When we were back at the cabin the bears

Hi, the cabin was nice and clean and location is beautiful. We were party of 11 and were able to sleep comfortably, 3 1/2 baths also made easier to get ready in the morning.The road to the cabin is very steep. There is a deck with beautiful views but bears don’t let you sit on there as they visit the property frequently during the day and night. They check your car’s door and if found unlocked, they get in the car looking for food and drinks. We were told by door dash delivery guy that they are friendly but we didn’t dare to test their friendliness. Overall our stay was enjoyable.
