Sea Hut Homestay

Indian breakfast was simple but delicious. Room is very comfy and staff made sure that mosquito protection and drinking water is there at all times.

A wonderful stay just 7 minutes from Fort Kochi, with easy Uber access. The room was extremely neat and tidy.. something I really appreciated. The owner and his son were warm, humble, and very accommodating. No unnecessary restrictions, and we could order food anytime, which made the stay even more comfortable. The property has a lovely garden with a dining area, hammocks by the sea, and even direct access to the seawall. Relaxing there truly felt like a little slice of heaven. A perfect, peaceful escape from a busy routine.. definitely my new favorite spot near Fort Kochi.

There are no negative comments. One thing I noticed was that there was no toothpaste in the room, but they arranged it for me as soon as I called them.

The property is at the sea so you get a sea view from the sea wall or from one bedroom, and it is very quiet. The garden is relaxing. The family are kind and accommodating.

The room I was first offered was mouldy and not aired well. I asked for another room which I moved to but had to pay more for it. I had to clean the toilet and sink as there were hairs and dirt on the surfaces. I then had to move back to the mouldy room but they had agreed to air it during the day which helped. Unfortunately however I couldn’t comfortably use the toilet as there was very strong sewage smells. Had to use outside toilet. This room needed a deep clean. A lot of dust on upper wood surfaces. Really unsettling as being moved from room to room and couldn’t relax and unpack. was charged full price even though these issues.
