Disappointing despite the cheap price.

The property was quite close to the Falls.

The property was quite disappointing. Accessing the room was very hard, no air conditioning, the shower did not work, the staff was quite rude on the phone (we needed parking and were dismissed immediately… they even hung up on us), and to top it all off, the location itself is quite sketchy. I would recommend spending a little more money for a nicer place.

Okey for the money

Good location, comfy beds

No communication with the host/ no flexibility from the host in terms of late check out or using the facilities past check out. We ran the marathon and had to fly home with no shower because we weren’t allowed to take a shower there. Kitchen is closed 11-7am, also not ideal if you need it before that.

Six adults

The owner was very friendly and responsive. The home was very clean and fairly spacious. One bedroom has a queen and a double bed. One room has a queen and a twin bed. Bedrooms are on the second floor. There is a full bath near bedrooms and a toilet and sink on the main floor. There is a kitchen with a table and a separate dining room, so there is plenty of eating space. The homes location is an easy drive to the Niagara Falls attractions, about 5 minutes away and 10 minutes from Rainbow Bridge, Canadian and American border.

The stairs leading to the second floor , where the beds are located, are quite steep and creeky. The beds move easily on the hard floors, so be careful that you don't push it out from under you, like what happened to my husband.

Value for money stay near Niagara Falls

It was a cosy and bright house with character, 20 mins walk from Niagara Falls with free parking included. Kitchen has all necessary amenities. Very clean room and shared bathroom.

As the house is old, we can hear a bit squeaky sound of the floor, nevertherless that did not bother us at all. Had a very sound sleep.

Clean, comfortable, convenient

The best part about this stay was the location. It is only about a 15 minute walk to Clifton Hills and a 20 minute walk to the Falls. The room was very clean and comfortable, even though it was a little dated. We did have to share a bathroom with one other room, but that wasn’t a problem.

The vinyl flooring is coming up in the room and I stumped my toe on it. That hurt.

An old house with zero maintenance. I was expecting a well-maintained house similar to what was shown in the listing, but unfortunately, the property was quite old and lacked proper upkeep. The stairs creaked constantly, which was inconvenient and uncomfortable for eight a staying in the house. Additionally, when I made the booking, I was under the impression that we would have a family room with a private bathroom, especially considering we were four people travelling with a senior. However, upon arrival, the maid, that chased us all the time, informed us that we had to share a single bathroom with guests from the neighbouring unit—six people sharing one bathroom made things quite crowded and uncomfortable. This was not what I had anticipated, and I apologize if there was any misunderstanding, but the accommodation did not meet our needs. That said, the location was convenient, and the room itself was acceptable. At least they provided a space where we could have breakfast, but at least one coffee maker should be available. For the price we paid it’s OK.

Cheerful and Comfortable

Location - 12 min walk to the Niagara Falls Safety - in a residential neighborhood. Very safe. Room was clean and all shared areas were also well organized and clean. No air conditioning but there is a fan.

The house provided a comfortable and relaxing retreat after a day of exploring the falls and nearby attractions. The cleanliness and tranquility of the place more than made up for it, and the price was unbeatable for such a prime location. The hosts were thoughtful and ensured everything was in order, making our stay even more enjoyable.

While the house itself is a bit outdated and modest, with creaky stairs and floors that add a touch of old-school charm, these quirks didn’t detract from our overall experience.

ATTENTION BED BUGS!!!

I had to cut short the night at 3 a.m. because the bed bugs wouldn't stop bitting me. I wrote to the host and reported the bedbugs. He apologized and told me to get the money from Booking.com myself. No help from the host. I even considered going to the hospital. The bites were so bad. Look at the photos.

Convenient to have the Use of Share Kitchen facilities. Close to Niagara Falls attractions. Recommend WEGO Transportation & Adventure Pass, esp for multi day stays.

Very crowded on Center Street on weekend. Recommend week Days if schedule allows. We also stayed same location on Sunday June 8.

The place is a bit rougher than what it looks like in the pictures, clean enough, but a bit odd having to share a bathroom in a house, so how relaxing the stay is really depends on who books the other rooms..

It was a nice stay and I would stay again.

I liked the location. The property wasnt far from Bird Kingdom and also other Niagara tourist attractions. The property was clean and had all the facilities we needed.

I didnt like the stairs leading up to the room especially when carrying suitcases. I didnt realise we were going to be put into the loft room, which obviously had slopping roof, which I banged my head on several times (my fault of course!).

Superb

We were close enough to walk to the Falls area, the niece of the owner who was staying there was very nice, our room was big, and the place was clean 😀

The double bed, while comfortable, was a bit small for 2 people (but it was alright). The people in the other room on our floor kept the bathroom door closed even when they weren't in it, so we were never sure if the bathroom was in use or not. That was no fault of the owner or the property of course.

Passable

Hosts are nice people in welcoming and facilitating guests. We arrived earlier than check-in time and could put away our luggage in advance in their home. They also love to provide local information.

The check-in and check-out procedures are not clear: you can just come in without even showing who you are, which proposes safety concerns. The night is extremely noisy, parties were until early in the morning. The stay is basically a mixed living with the house owner. During the day, the BBQ smoke is quite strong.

Property itself was very nice and clean… we stayed in the Jupiter room which has two beds. The bigger bed was quite comfy and supportive but the little bed was a little less so… the air conditioner in the room worked well so we stayed cool even though it was hot outside. We had a key to lock the room as there’s another guest room right next to it and one up on the 3rd floor. Bathroom was well maintained and shower worked very well. We had a bottle of water left for us in the fridge which was nice.

The only thing I didn’t like was the responsiveness of the host/property. The day or so before check in, they were fairly responsive, responding to a text message of mine and then sending check in details through Booking.com. However once we checked in, I saw there was a sign in the room that said the house gets locked at midnight every night for guest safety, and if you will return after midnight, to let them know. Check in time was the window of 3 pm-6 pm, and I sent them a message at 6:20 through Booking letting them know it was possible we’d return later than midnight depending on traffic, and to please not lock the house. They didn’t respond, so I wasn’t sure if they got it. I updated them hours later saying we would indeed be back after midnight and please don’t lock the house… I sent another message after that, and also a text asking if they got my Booking.com messages because I hadn’t heard back and didn’t want to be locked out. I tried to stay in really good communication and they did not respond until about 9 am the next morning. I was really afraid we might be locked out, but luckily we were not. So that’s the only thing… they really should have been responding after check-in happened, not just before. If we had had a major issue with the room or something, it seems they would not have seen the message. Other than that, everything was good.
