When we opened the door into the house we were struck by the deodorizing scent present in the house. We got used to it though soon enough. There were all the kitchen appliances one would need conveniently located on the kitchen counter. The living room furniture was a bit small and low-to-the-ground and uncomfortable for me. The location is within a few minutes drive of many eating places, and only about five minutes from the falls.The linens and towels were clean and plentiful.The bathroom drains need to be cleaned out so the shower drains properly.

Stay five nights while visiting the falls and area.Positives: near all major attractions, great to have a garage for parking and very affordable.Negatives: no restaurants within walking distance as it is a residential neighborhood and house does smell a little musty. Air freshener fixed that up. Grass was kind of long in backyard.Here is our list of area tips:1. Cave of the winds - if you are physically able to hike stairs - the closest you can get to the falls.2. Maid of the Mist - are the best way to get near both falls.3. Walk to Canada to see the falls from a different viewpoint. Bring password and quarters for turnstile back into the US. 1 USA4. Check out Whirlpool State Park which you can hike down to the whirlpools 1/4 mile of stairs and must be in good condition for the stairs, bring our own water and best of all it is free.5. If you need to park by the falls 10 per day and you need to get there by 9am during summer season for a spot.

The house was very clean, and well equipped, especially the kitchen. The decor was charming. The location was good for our needs. The description of the sleeping arrangement was somewhat misleading. The description said there were two queen beds. This was actually one queen bed in the bedroom, and a futon in the living rooms. The description said there were two twin beds in the second bedroom. It was actually a daybed with a trundle on the floor. The room was small so when the trundle was pulled out, there was no room to open our luggage in that room. So we opened our luggage in the living room. If we had someone sleeping on the futon, it would have been a problem. Since we were three women traveling together, it worked out, but would have been problematic if the situation required more modesty. I would also suggest that the host have a native English speaker edit the instructions about the house and departure. They were very difficult to read and understand.

The location was in an older neighborhood close to main roads making it easy to access falls attractions without being in the hotel district. Parking was either on the street in front or in back in a garage. We felt safe leaving the car out front. The rooms were small and a little quirky, but clean and comfortable. I would stay there again if I were in the area.

On a positive note, the place was clean and kitchen was well stocked for pot,pans,plates ect... Garage was nice to park in. House was very close to everything. Negative the house smelled I guess because it was old. The living room furniture it very uncomfortable. No paper products, cheap shampoo no conditioner.

There seemed to be a miscommunication which ended up not really affecting us. When we first received confirmation it said check in was 11AM check out was 11AM. We arrived around 2:45 and when we saw our message the check in time changed to 3PM. Wasn’t a huge deal but I’m glad we didn’t arrive at 11AM. Place was nice and cozy I would definitely stay again!

Quiet and clean elder home, but very nicely kept up. Garage availability for off the street parking, and best thing is that it is rather close to anything you'd like to do around Niagra Falls. Nice back yard to sit and relax in. All in all, was a very nice stay!

We checked in easily, lots of pots and pans, easy accces to falls, . Beware on edge of a sketchy neighborhood. Plenty of linens, towels and such. Tv is streaming only, so if you’re addicted to fox or msnbc, you’ll survive.!!! We want to thank the hosts for a great stay

The outside of the house is beautiful as well as the inside. Everything was clean and well organized. There was a living room, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and a full bathroom. There was a dining room as well but that looked to be decoration only. Did not want to mess that up. During our stay, our tour guide said that we were staying in the hood and to no go outside at night. This street seemed relatively safe but once you got off onto the Main Street, it got sketchy.

The livingroom furniture was not very comfortable although it did look relatively new. The bed was very comfortable though. There were plenty of towels and all of the main small appliances in the kitchen that you could possibly need. We chuckled at the size of the spoons....they were so tiny that if you were to eat a bowl of soup or cereal it would take you the full vacation to finish. In all seriousness...it was a very nice place. Very quiet neighborhood and relatively easy to find your way around

Very cute, old home! My husband is from the area. We came to visit family and this VRBO beats the hotels we are use to staying at. Had to sweep the floor and the tub filled up with water while taking a shower, other than that-GREAT STAY!

I had made some mistakes in the booking process but that is neither here nor there. The important part is that the place was wonderful. Information for attractions nearby were easy to find. Bedroom was comfortable. Only a single complaint and it’s that the floor was somewhat dirty. We had to wipe our feet off when getting into bed. But it wasn’t major and nothing a small amount of sweeping couldn’t fix. And when I say it was a minor complaint, I mean it. Overall stellar place.

We enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and well maintained. Nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable. The Falls were close and we found some good food near by. The neighborhood was rough though. The street the house is on was quiet but just a couple blocks away there was evidence of gang activity and multiple loud block parties. (we could not hear them from the house). All in all I would stay here again.

The check in process and communication was very easy! The house is close to most everything (about 15 mins max to where you want to go, outlets, the falls, Aquarium of Niagata, Canadian border, etc). Everything in the house was pretty clean and tidy, tourist info provided was a plus! Plenty of dishes, linens and towels provided! Parking is pretty simple once you realize what's going on.. (park on different sides of road every other night). Only thing that was not in listing was that there is a second floor that you do not have access too, there is a locked door at the top of the stairs which took us by surprise but the first floor is plenty big enough for a couple or small family! Definitely recommend staying here!

We had the pleasure of staying here for 4 nights. This was our first time ever not staying in a hotel so we didn’t know what to expect. The house was very nice in a pretty quiet area. It was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. It was nice to be close to the falls without being right in the touristy area or town. We were fortunate enough to have a smaller car this weekend and we were able to park in the alley behind the house without any issues. We would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area. If we ever find ourselves out this way again we would absolutely stay here again!

Charming older home with ideal location close to Niagara Falls

We stayed for 4 nights with our young son and it felt like a home away from home. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable and all amenities were provided (towels, toiletries, condiments, kitchenware etc.) We enjoyed the bench and swing in the back garden as well. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed coming back each day to relax. The city on the US side is a bit rundown. We followed the instructions for parking and when we saw a bunch of cars move across the street we did that as well - there was no problem finding parking space on either side. The location was perfect - 10 minutes to the American side of the falls and 10 minutes to the Canadian border. Modela was very gracious in her communications and our stay and experience suggested that she is a thoughtful host - we appreciated it very much.

We enjoyed our stay in this home, but pay attention to the overnight street parking. (I believe if it will be an odd date in the MORNING, park in front of odd-numbered homes and vice versa.) We opted to park in the alley but that could be a challenge for large vehicles.

This place was exactly like the pictures. Quiet neighborhood. Everything was provided that we need during our stay. I would stay there again if in area. The only thing that I would warn anyone about is parking on the street. I do not like to put anything negative about this place but feel compelled to warn others if they stay there that the following could happen to them. I got a ticket for parking on the street. The owner, she tried to correct problem, and no fault of hers because she did not know of situation about parking, no signs posted at all, and even called PD to try and straighten it out. They would not let me out of the ticket. Again very nice place and would recommend to anyone who is visiting Niagra Falls. And yes if I visit Niagra again I would rent this place.

Let’s begin by me saying the CHECK IN PROCESS itself was about 44mins in total (the wrong key code was given, after reaching out to the owner I received a very NOTABLE voicemail).. the owner even watched us struggle on the “RING” Caneras they have lol. after finally getting in the home is smaller than expected. Also, I was accused of “having traffic , drinking and smoking” while there which is not true . I felt uncomfortable and only stayed 1** night versus the 2** I paid for. Thanks for NOTHING
