Quirky and homely

The hosts (Karen) communication was above and beyond. Any queries were responded to immediately and lots of tips and advice before arrival regarding parking and the accommodation. The accommodation is very quirky and has all of the amenities you need to have a pleasant staycation. We would hope to return in the future.

Obviously parking at the property would be a bonus but Karen kindly directed us to nearby free parking - thank you 😊

Property has potential to be lovely but as it is right now and for the price it is. We won’t be back.

The location was exactly what we needed. Great size property. Strong WiFi and able to use Netflix on the TV’s.

Parts were unclean - kitchen utensils and facilities needed to be cleaned before we used it while some pots and pans couldn’t be used at all because of the dirt. Other parts of the property felt unkept- wall paper coming off the wall in several parts of the property ( bedroom and living room) Stains on the bedroom floor carpet

Modern. Comfortable Great facilities Tastefully presented. Excellent location

It needed a little maintenance. Spotlights were flickering. Bathroom plug stuck. Toilet seat was wobbly.

Cute apartment in a fantastic location

Fantastic location, really clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated and had all the utensils needed to make dinner.

There were a few small things such as the TV being really high on the wall and frosted glass doors on the bathroom, these are personal preferences and didn’t deduct from the enjoyment of our stay. The parking was frustrating but this isn’t something the property has any control over.

Very disappointing experience.

It was close to town. No car was needed.

The bedroom in this flat is located down a set of very steep steps, which was not mentioned in the property description. The bathroom is on the main floor. Had I known that the bedroom was on a lower level accessed by such stairs, I would not have booked this accommodation. Unfortunately, I suffered a fall on the first day due to the steep steps. Because of safety concerns, we checked out early the following morning and booked a hotel instead. I informed the hosts, Karen and Neill, about the situation and explained that I have a medical condition (a brain tumor) that affects my balance, making it unsafe for me to access the lower level. I requested a refund for the unused nights, but the request was declined. I strongly recommend that the listing be updated to clearly indicate the presence of steep stairs and the bedroom’s location on a lower level, so future guests can make an informed decision before booking.

Lovely apartment, great location.

The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The location was perfect for us, a short walk from the valley gardens where we walked the dogs.

Parts of the woodwork needs a lick of paint and we didn't know how to switch the heater on in the bedroom. We read in the comments book that the water was very hot but I just turned it down on the boiler and it was okay.

Granville Road, great area to stay in.

Very quiet, very clean, enough space for two, dog friendly. Appreciated the milk left in the fridge for us. We’ve stayed in Granville Road before but had a whole house to ourselves then which was actually cheaper than this. This is in effect a basement flat finished to a very nice spec and worked fine for us. Comms with the owners were really good, would probably stay again 👍

No parking, but parking available nearby but costly. Best place to park is probably West Park car park, ten min walk away, £8:50ish for 24 hours.

Short stay in Harrogate

Extremely central location which was great. Early check in available.

I would have preferred the bathroom to be on the same level as the bedroom but I was aware of this when booking so I guess that's my fault! Outdoor area was fine but could perhaps do with a little TLC. Likewise indoors, mostly fine but just a few touches needed here and there eg toilet roll holder was hanging off and actually fell off on the last day, no cover for ironing board.

Ideal for a weekend away.

The apartment is ideally located in the centre of town making it easy to reach all the attractions. The property is well furnished and is spotlessly clean, you have plenty of clean, quality of towels provided and an air con unit in the bedroom which is a nice touch.

Parking isn't provided but to be fair the multi storey car park is only a few minutes walk away and spaces are abundant in that car park.

Great apartment in a brilliant location

Great communication from owner from the start. Lovely comfortable apartment, clean, tidy with good decor. Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from some really good restaurants and not far from the town centre. We would definitely stay here again.

I misunderstood and initially thought it came with parking outside the apartment when I booked but Jubilee multi-storey car park less than 5 minutes walk away so not a problem.

Very comfortable and a real joy.

Accommodation is very comfortable, cosy and well-equipped in a faultless location. A really pleasant stay and we would certainly return.

1) The motion-activated light in the entrance hall - great for the day, less so when you have to use the toilet at night. 2) We found some enormous cobwebs in the lounge.

We had a lovely time visiting Harrogate and Bath. The apartment is well situated for exploring.

From start to finish karen interacted with us about best places to park and also roadworks which was great . The apartment was amazing immaculate inside and a great location with everything we needed on the doorstep. We had a great 2 days and wish it could of been longer but will definitely go back and recommend to friends and family. Thank you Karen 🙂

The apartment is pleasant except for the bedroom which is damp.

It is near the town centre and the convention centre. The living room furniture and bed were comfortable. The apartment is clean and the kitchen is well-equipped. The hosts were responsive.

The living room and kitchen are on the ground floor, but the bedroom is in the basement. The bedroom was cold, damp, and smelt very musty. There was no table to sit at to eat or work; only a kitchen counter with high stools with no backs which is not accessible to everyone.

Exceptional

Lovely little find right in the centre of Harrogate. Easy 5-10min steady walk to the shops, pubs and restaurants. Despite the central location it felt very private and was very quiet too.

There was nothing we didn't like about staying here and we definately would again. The host even has fresh milk in for your arrival which was a lovely touch.

Fantastic little get away in Harrogate.

Loved this light, bright and spacious apartment. Only wished we had longer than the two nights we stayed, as a real home from home and also a Fantastic location within 5 mins of both the station and centre of Harrogate for bars and restaurants.

Not realising the shower tap showing hot and cold seemed to be in reverse 😅 A little musky smell in the basement bedroom. This was rectified leaving the door at the top of the stairs open.
