Liebevoll eingerichtet mit alten, stilvollen Möbeln, die Besitzer haben sich viel Mühe gemacht, um Alles perfect zu haben, und es war perfekt. Die Betten waren ebenfalls aeusserst bequem, genauso wie die zwei Sessel vor dem Fenster mit traumhaften Ausblicken. Es war einfach Alles da, von Wanderkarten über Fernglas bis zu Gartenmöbeln. Selbst die Heizung sprang an, als es kälter wurde. Sonst sorgte ein elektrischer Kamin für wohlige Waerme. Die Wanderungen konnten direkt hinter dem Haus beginnen. Der Aufstieg war zwar mühsam, es aber wert.

The cottage was quite high up in the old part of Barmouth, but the views were amazing. You could see over the harbour and estuary from the cottage and garden terrace.

I couldn’t fault anything . The cottage was so lovely with so much history. Can’t wait to go back.

Ideal aspect and great views. Good quality fixtures, fittings and equipment. Good liason with owners. Baggage delivery service very welcome.

For us, a fitted shower with screen would be preferable to the bath with hand shower. For older couples like ourselves (combined age of 154 years!) the access to the cottage is very challenging to say the least. As has been noted that's the price of having the most amazing views.

The difficulties of getting to the cottage
