It was good for a night but not sure I would stay longer

The home was clean and communication was great! The location to campus was good and we only needed to stay for a night so it was fine for us

It could really use some updates… newer blankets, beds were very squeaky and lightening wasn’t great . I know the decor is supposed to be from the past but it’s almost too dated. It felt more like a museum than an air bnb.

Perfect for my purposes.

Perfect location for me. I wanted to visit the History Museum and the Studebaker Museum, which were right across the street. I was also interested in the neighborhood - I'm writing a novel, part of which takes place in that neighborhood. Parking right behind the house was super convenient.

The bathroom was tiny and uninviting.

No frills hostel type setting ok if that’s what your into

We liked the price but we ate the cost and didn’t end up staying. Got a room elsewhere.

This is essentially a hostel that is made into some sort of museum. And maybe it says that on the website but I just went by what the booking app said so we were uncomfortable and disappointed with the entire situation, lots of house rule about shoe wearing and quiet time observances. There are actually two houses referenced in the photos in the posting for the one listing but only the one house front pictured. The room we ended up in was not even pictured in the posting so it was hard to know what room we were ending up in when the selection was made. I reached out to staff about our not staying sighting inconsistencies in the post and wasn’t even offered a partial refund just told the app wouldn’t let them post separate locations. I would think that’s where one would go ahead and makes two separate post but what do I know.

Lovely home, friendly and very welcoming host, clean rooms and great location.

Beautiful home. Very clean, handy for town, restaurants, sight seeing. Easy to get to, good parking areas. Host was knowledgeable of the area and very personable.

Pillows on the bed were not firm enough for our liking, host did find us an extra pillow. Personal taste tho and others may find them perfectly fine.

It was right next door to the Studebaker Museum, which was my main destination. Very close to downtown, restaurants, and Notre Dame.

No television in guest room. That's it.

My 16 yr. old son loved the car history and all the stuff to look at.

Dripping faucet in Rm. #4 bathroom. Bathroom rugs could stand an update. I think a smoke alarm might have been beeping to indicate low battery. No lights were on downstairs when we entered after dark, making it difficult to find our room.

The Avanti House was easy to find, check into, return to, and it was quiet and very charming.

We each had a granola bar the first night we came in as it was rather late. We didn't need the kitchen snacks but it was nice to know that it was available. It was very handy to have the little fridge and microwave available upstairs.

We were totally happy with our stay and accommodations.

Grab and go snacks were great and coffee and open kitchen concept was perfect for me. The location was great to town and college near by. Only downfall is a busy road with traffic but historical area was nice and road is wide and parking out back is a great fix. I will use it again the next time I need to stay the night. Thank you

The house is very unique and interesting. The entire well place is well taken care of, clean, tidy, comfortable, inviting and in addition has a snack giving out on a daily basis. Cassandra from staff is very helpful and kind. The place is super close to everything I needed (maximum of 14 min walk). Super interesting people coming over. AND last but not least - good value for money.

Well...the place was a bit cold most of the time....I guess that it is the season but I did expect a bit more. I had a room with only a toilet so sharing a shower is a thing you should come prepared for.

I like the actual house , as it's older and I like the kitchen cabinets , along with the floors. I think the neighborhood is nice too. It's in the economically mature part of town, but the block the house is on is tidy .

I think your coffee maker is clogged, as the water boils off before it hits the grounds. Also, the street light in front wasn't lit when I arrived at 10 p.m., just in case you want to let the city know.

I would definitely stay at the Avanti house again.

Beautiful old house and taken care of. Location to my class was only 1.5 miles away. Communications was easy. I enjoyed walking the house and reading history and the seeing collection in the house.

Nothing major, the house is a beautiful older house and is taken care of. But with older houses the floors do tend too creek in some places. (Like I said, nothing major and being more picky about that).
