Everything was perfect, a real home from home. Tastefully decorated and furnished. Also the comfort of the host being nearby. View of the river Usk a bonus.

Good communication from the owners and clear instructions. Even though you don't see the owners, you felt welcome. Unit nicely decorated and furnished.

Needs a bit of tlc

Lovely apartment, such a good layout. Lovely views. Very spacious. Bed in the room with a green wall was extremely comfortable. Bedding nice and clean. Lovely spacious wardrobe. Shower warm, got in and out of garage okay with our Range Rover Evoque. Nice sitting on the balcony in the evening. Loved the decor. Kitchen and bathroom floor really clean. Nice town very cultural and it has 4 Greggs. Went to the cinema at Spytty Park as the one in town is closed and its so nice. Friendly staff.

Minor niggles. Arrived and had to hoover crumbs up in front of sofa. There were dead flies behind sofa too.. Window in kitchen doesn't close, window in front room doesn't open. Filthy oven, washing machine not much better. Clock in front room doesn't work. Bedside lamp in other room doesn't work. Fridge freezer and cupboards in kitchen need a clean. Need a carpet cleaner quite a few stains. Also pot with kitchen sponge needed a clean. The cleaners need to do a better job. Ironing board is broken nothing a screw won't fix. Very noisy area and lots of sirens all the time. People sat outside on the grass talking most nights into the early hours. As it was hot couldn't have windows open. On the welcome note it says to use one bedroom but if we want to use both let them know beforehand to ensure its clean unless we read that wrong. It's a bit late at this stage. Which were we to use? The one opposite front door the main light was too dim to use that at night but the note indicated only one room was clean? Hallway lightshade covered in cobwebs. Finally, no soap in dispenser in bathroom and sink water tap sprays some water to the right. The sink smells bad too. Might sound like Im being picky but the apartment is described as luxury. We contacted the owners during our stay for a minor issue to which they responded to straightaway. They do need to deal with the maintenance and the cleanliness of the place but we certainly didn't let it affect our holiday as of course we were out and about most of the time.

Great venue, handy location great value for money.

It was all great. The beds were very comfortable both the wife and I agreed they were the most comfortable we'd slept on. Excellent venue, highly recommend.

The only minor thing was we couldn't turn the shower temperature down.

If I have the chance to come back again, I will always think of this place first.

The atmosphere is very good. You can see the view around you, which is refreshing every morning when you wake up. You feel like you are truly resting. It is quiet, the room is very clean and comfortable. It is close to the town center and shops nearby. The owner is very kind, accommodating and responds to messages quickly.

Family trip to Wales

Great location for our trip to Wales. The apartment is well appointed with two very comfortable beds.

The only minor issue was parking. The apartment has an allocated large garage, however the garage door is fairly small. I have a jaguar xe and it literally only just cleared the entrance with both wing mirrors folded and getting guidance from my partner. If you have a smaller car this is not an issue, however if you have a larger vehicle you may have problems. Once through the door the garage is wide and long enough for two cars

Lovely apartment with parking.

The apartment was lovely, with a garage. The water pressure in the shower was excellent and plenty of hot water. Beds were very comfortable.

As I often find, although there were plenty of plug sockets but none were convenient for a mirror. Fortunately I plan for this and travel with an extension. The bathroom was lovely but nowhere to put makeup near the mirror whilst getting ready. Other mirrors did not have enough light. I couldn’t find a code for the bin store to take out our rubbish as requested on the welcome letter.

Main light in one of the bedrooms flickered so bad that we weren’t able to leave it on, had to use the lamp at all times. Nothing a new bulb wouldn’t solve however.

Lovely apartment, good location!

The apartment had everything one could wish for (we only stayed one night, but I would gladly stay longer at this property). It was everything it promised to be and it is very nicely decorated. Location is very good, nice view on the banks of the river, too bad it was raining when we were there.

We were a party of 4 and despite the fact that the apartment had 2 decent-sized bedrooms, there were only two chairs to sit and eat breakfast in the morning. Maybe if they rent out the apartment for a party of 4, they might provide 4 chairs.

waterfront location beautiful setting . balcony gorgeous addition looking out onto the waterfront

hot weekend when we went so in peak season the property even with windows open is warm and no air con so fan would be welcomed . also for older visitors shower over bath so a bath slip mat and handle near shower to help safety would be a bonus . no teapot a minor point tho !!

Lovely clean apartment .

The balcony was a big plus for me as I like to have an outside area and why I booked this apartment . . Very clean and lovely modern furniture . Nice to have a full size fridge freezer. Beds comfy with a lovely modern design. I would definitely stay again if in the area . Questions answered swiftly by host . Good central location for shopping . Communial areas stairs and corridors also kept very clean .

The keynest having to go elsewhere to pick up and drop of keys . Not to much of an issue if driving yourself but I was coming in by taxi so had to walk with cases there on departure to take keys back and have disabilities.
