We did not opt for breakfast, so I can't say much on that. 1. The views are to die for, it's a very relaxing and peaceful place for sure! 2. The staff is exceptional, very friendly, very warm and very helpful. From the guards at the gate to the receptionist and the site manager. Their customer service is top notch. The site manager is available on call anytime, easily reachable and always willing to help.

The place is comfortable but could do with a bit of fumigation. We had a lot of ants in our chalet and found it difficult to keep food around, especially considering it's a self catering place, everything had to go to the fridge or be left in the car so that it's not eaten by ants. We also could not comfortable relax in the lounge area because there were cockroaches roaming on it. This one is not really on the reserve per se, but could be helpful to someone considering visiting the place - The gravel road leading to the gate is not lengthy, but it can get tricky, especially if driving a small car, most especially because it's mostly raining around that side due to the surrounding dam. It is however manageable, but would be best if one brings enough food for their stay to avoid going in and out as there is no restaurant on site.
