North Beach Lodge

Really good location and very comprehensive information provided before our arrival about the house and the local amenities. Kitchen is very well equipped. Lots of space - there are snugs around the house if you want a bit of quiet but don't want to sit in one of the bedrooms, and there are two separate stair cases to different parts of the house so you can you don't feel like you're in each other's pockets. It was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend for a large group.

Nothing to complain about

Large enough for all the family. Close to beach. Clean and comfortable.

Some of the showers weren’t great. Parking is tight for 4 cars when there are multiple families staying. The kitchen doesn’t have much surface space for its size so we moved one of the tables into the kitchen for more prep space. Could do with an island or table kept in the kitchen.

Eight bedrooms all with private bathrooms which is great when there's a large group of people. Lots of kitchen facilities, glasses and plates etc.

The sofas in the main room weren't very comfortable.

Its easy to find, good parking, decoration is up to date, bedrooms are a really good size and all but two are en-suite, the kitchen is well equipped and plenty big enough, hot tub is a great addition, as is the bar area, its very clean and tidy whilst still being welcoming. The snug and den are great additions for a little something different. The location is excellent considering where it is its very quiet and peaceful.

The ONLY issue we had was The neighbour complained about the noise at 7pm, on the first night, we didn't feel it was excessive and we hadn't even had the chance to follow the noise rules, (9pm no outside noise 11pm out the hot tub), but the owner was lovely about it, and its not a reflection on the owner.
