Central location- needed renovation and love!

Excellent location; literally, whatever attraction you want to visit is within easy reach.

The apartment is located in the middle of everything. Literally, whatever attraction you want to visit is a quick walk away. Despite its excellent location in the old town's rather crowded area, it is quite quiet. Communication with the Caleta personnel is quick, and the information provided by them is comprehensive and clear. We appreciated the luggage storage at their nice office at Paseo Reding 9, with very helpful staff working at the reception desk. Their office is very cozy, where you can have coffee and refresh yourself before your flight back. Very convenient for late departures.

A great addition to the apartment equipment would have been a dishwasher (even a small and basic one). The heater in the apartment was somewhat underperforming, so it took time for the apartment to reach a comfortable 20+ degrees Celsius (granted, we were there in January).

Absolutely perfect.

The communication from the host company was outstanding. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and we loved the fact that it was door code and we didn't have to worry about carrying keys around. The location of the apartment is brilliant being at the centre of everything but not noisy. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Very clean. Comfortable bed. Lovely linen. Central for amenities. Caleta staff tried their best to help.

Lots of outside noise. Air con not as advertised- only in living room. Absolutely no clothes storage in bedroom. Only 1 mirror. Tried to call the emergency number but no one picked up.

Really enjoyable stay in the heart of Malaga.

The service from the agency was exceptional. Thought it would be a pain to have to get a taxi to get the keys but it only cost 5 euros and the support and advice received was excellent. They stayed in touch throughout our stay, dropped of a complimentary bottle of vino and offered bag storage on our last day.

Was unclear on Booking.com that the apartment we booked did not have a roof terrace. This is clear on their own site. We missed the roof terrace.

Host was wonderful. They upgraded our apartment so that we didn’t have to collect keys from their office. Location was right in the centre of Malaga. Large 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. Very spacious.

Comfortable, clean apartment in a great central location.

The location is excellent right in the centre of the old town. The streets were very noisy and busy but this noise couldn’t be heard in the bedroom.

It would be better if you could collect the keys earlier than 4pm.

Pleasant stay in Malaga

We had a lovely stay. The apartment was in a great location. It was well equipped. Only problem was getting into the apartment with the key was difficult but we reported this and hopefully it will be resolved. Key collection was a little inconvenient.

Very kind welcome in the office. We came with an earlier morning flight, so we left our luggage in the office first . There was no issues at all.

It was very loud at night! It did keep me up, so maybe bring ear plugs! I was in the street facing room though, the other room was fine.

High expectations, but big letdown.

I liked the central location and the big windows.

This facility is extremely careful with their guests. They will take 200 eur deposit "if something goes wrong". I came with car to Málaga, so I was glad when I was offered a parking for 21eur / day. What was interesting, was the fact that I never got the address of the parking before, I arrived. I realized just when we got to the parking, that its about 850m from the Apartment > which you will have to do by foot through the city center. Just forget about taking your luggages from the parking. The key which we got to open the gate was unfortunately not working, so we ended up waiting for another key between two gates on the slope. Just drive to the city center and get a public parking. I booked the apartment for a family of 4. It was quite a let down, when we finally arrived and the sofa bed was not prepared for the kids. I found it quite funny, that the response was that "I need to say in advance that I need to prepare the other bed as well" . Have never heard this excuse in my life before. This location you should reconsider, if you are sensitive for noise. We did could not sleep because random people were shouting all night in front of the house, the sorrounding houses were amplifying the noise.

An excellent option for short stay in the middle of Malaga.

The apartment is indeed in the heart of the vibrant old city; it’s spacious, with good quality linens and kitchen well equipped.

The street noise goes on until morning and the windows don’t isolate properly. It’s a lot of hassle the Caleta online checkin followed by picking up the keys from the office that is 15 minutes away. The apartment accommodates 4 but don’t expect the sofa yo be comfortable for adults.

Great location but the overall experience could be improved

The location was superb, a couple of blocks away from Calle Larios and Plaza de la Constitucion. The apartment was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The staff was welcoming despite having to walk pretty far to pick up the keys.

I would have preferred that someone met us at the door to hand us the keys. The hot water lasted very little. Only one person could shower and then the next would have to wait about 30 mins for the water to get heated again. Also, after 10 PM we ran out of hot water and without a Spanish phone number, it was practically impossible to communicate via phone with the help service. Had it not been for a friend of ours, we would have had to stay without hot water until the next day. The water heater also had a leakage that we were able to contain for a bit but not entirely. We had to place a casserole underneath to collect the dripping water. Nobody went there to fix it before we left.

Spacious, very clean, large comfy bed, good location but quiet. The terrace is a bonus.

We like some self catering but pretty impossible as so basic. No cutting board, small serrated knife, bread knife, covered dishes for microwave, cling film, spoons for cooking. No washing up liquid- who takes that on holiday? Only 1 plug in kitchen so using toaster and kettle a challenge. Only 1 toilet roll provided. Only 1 rubbish bag. Onl 5 coat hangers and minimal storage. We were 2 so 4 would struggle. If you only want to eat out, it's fine
