Thyssen Boutique Apartments by Caleta Homes

An “one of a kind” nicely designed and decorated apartment, centrally located, clean and well equipped. Effective communication with staff.

No dislikes

My wife and I loved the luxury, location and cleanliness of the apartment. We had the best nights sleep away from home and would certainly call this apartment as having home comfort. First morning I woke three hours later than usual and found my wife drinking tea on the terrace and laughed when I wondered why she wasn’t responding me only to find the French doors were closed and it was the shutter open with very clean windows giving the illusion of the door being open. Also loved the welcome vermouth and olive shaped chocolates.

Location was perfect. It was clean and a good size for the 3 of us (2 adults 1 child)

It was a good place no complaints

The apartment itself is lovely, with a great location and a beautiful view of the church.

The check-in process was really bad. Although the standard 4 PM check-in is already quite late, the apartment wasn’t ready until 5 because cleaning had not yet started, which cost us valuable time. We also received no clear check-in instructions and made a wasted trip across town to a separate reception, only to be told check-in was remote. While a WhatsApp message was sent, no follow-up occurred when we didn’t respond (and I didn’t respond to the original message because we have already received so many spam messages pretending to be booking.com). To their credit, the cleaners were extremely friendly and helpful, doing their best to clean quickly and help us get settled in. And the lady at reception checked in on us and offered a free taxi to make up for the late check in. Overall, while the apartment itself is good, the check-in process ruined one day of our short stay in Malaga.
