This was a family trip for my sons 18th birthday and the property looked clean and modern in the pictures. It is a semi detached house with very limited parking with no guarantee you can park anywhere near the property. It is a noisy residential street. Overall the house in a bit rundown with the bare minimum done, insecure fixings, missing bulbs, broken electrics and trip hazards. All the walls are covered in dirty marks, dents and chips and all the white doors are thick with black and brown marks and stains. The floors are dirty meaning just an hour of walking around and your socks are dark brown. The floors have rips and pulls in the very thin carpet with no underlay and it’s poorly fitted. In one room you can see bare floorboards and the carpet sticks up, in another there are two floor boards missing meaning the carpet spans a gap in the floor. The bedrooms are basic with mismatched furniture in poor condition. One bed is missing a headboard and another has an upside down base. There is a broken light that is snapped at the top. There is chewing gum stuck to the bedroom wall. Most of the doors are poorly fitted and one room cannot have the door closed as it hits the wall. The living room electrics are a mess with extension leads plugged into extension leads. There is mould on the corner wall and not only is a dining chair broken but the dining table top is not fixed to the frame making it unsafe to use. The curtain pole is not fixed in place so fell down onto my 5 year old when we opened the curtains. There is also a broken tile on the fireplace. The kitchen is sparsely equipped with pots, pans, one old cooking spoon, a broken cheese grater and cutlery. The stained tea towels are handy for washing up as there are no dishwasher tablets for the dishwasher. There is a pregnancy test under the sink if needed. All the cupboards are in disrepair with handles hanging off, doors hanging off or missing and a general grime.

The property was just what we needed for a few days at Alton Towers. The house is bigger than expected and the host was brilliant at communicating. We even contacted to extend our stay an extra night as we was having such a great time and this was no trouble and very fast responses to organize with the host. We would definitely book to stay again so thank you very much.

The only feedback I can give is just to perhaps offer some additional items in the kitchen to make cooking for 9 a little easier as this is very sparse and for us we were eating out mostly, but would have struggled with the limited equipment to use.

It wasn't safe for children and could've done with more heating. Bathroom upstairs instead of downstairs near kitchen

The house was revolting full of mould the divan bed was broke completely they tried to cover it up and thicken it out with a quilt ! The beds was awful the mould was awful . The only good thing was our car was safe outside ! No communication from the owner !

Everything and the lack of communication is appalling . The stay was awful we came home early due to the mould the crooked floor boards the disgusting beds that was help up by a quilt cover as the divan had broke which had a screw hanging out that my daughter cut herself on . Stank of mould was Absolutely disgusting, would not let a dog sleep there let alone a family ! Smashed glass in the garden . Electrical sockets hanging of the walls . The list goes on !

Convenient for where we were going. Good facilities. Fairly clean and tidy. Quick resolution of issues and Carl was very helpful.
