Loved everything about this apartment - it’s a beautiful modern, well equipped apartment. This is the best property that we have stayed in to date. Exceptional in every way. Toiletries are available in the bathroom. The kitchen is truly equipped. The hosts were superb, even the neighbouring apartments introduced themselves. Apparently the house was owned by the Lipton tea family - it’s just beautiful with stunning views

Ayr apparent

Lovely apartment in a nice area of Ayr. Very quiet. Good location. Big telly if the weather's poor. We didn't use it but on Thursdays a pizza van stops just opposite. Seemed very popular with the locals. Would definitely stop here again if in the area.

Wouldn't expect a lift in this type of building but you do have to go up two flights of stairs to get to the apartment

Beautiful apartment in a lovely location with a park on your doorstep. Apartment itself has everything you could need and the hosts communication is best I've had with information either being sent or a handy folder in the place with info on apartment and local area. Very comfortable stay and would highly recommend.

I liked that is was close to the beach which was in walking distance. The property was amazing, it has everything you need and more .it was clean and warm when required. The view from the lounge window was great. You could just sit relax and read your book while watching the dog walkers and children playing in the massive park.

Fantastic visit in an excellent, clean and spacious apartment.

The apartment was extremely clean and very comfortable. All the facilities that you could possibly need for your stay were available. The location was perfect for the seafront and just a short distance from the town centre. It was very easy to communicate with the hosts who did everything possible to ensure a smooth visit.

Fantastic character property with all the modern conveniences in a beautiful location

A fantastic location and a beautiful apartment with lots of character, the modern convenience of the week equipped bathroom and kitchen with amazing views over the countryside, and only a short walk to the beach, great local pubs situated in a couple of hotels a couple of minutes walk away, even with the weather being mixed we had a brilliant holiday and would definitely recommend

Lovely apartment, great value

Perfect location for visiting our family in Ayr, Prestwick, Irvine and Mauchline. Spacious and clean, with a 'Fredo' on arrival ( although hubby would have preferred a Tunnocks👍😂) Nice shower, plenty of towels, space to hang clothes, and Netflix 👍 Maybe an air fryer might be worth adding... just because so many of us cook with them nowadays x Deposit was returned swiftly 😁

Entrance stairs looking a little tired... Living room has such a high ceiling it's hard to keep warm , but we take our heated throws wherever we go so we didn't go cold 🌈

It was a very high class start to our tour of Scotland and we loved every minute of our time there.

Everything about this property was wonderful. The building itself is like a small castle, the gardens are mature, well tended and spacious and the interior is light and spacious with plenty of style and character. The appliances are of very high quality, the beds are very comfortable, the hosts are very positive and respond quickly to any questions.

You really have to look hard to find anything less than positive to say about this property. There was really nothing noteworthy.

BEWARE OF A SCAM!

WE DID NOT STAY HERE AS THE HOST CANCELED ON US ABOUT 30 MINUTES BEFORE WE ARRIVED. THEY SAID THERE WAS A WATER LEAK AND IT WAS ALL OVER THE CARPET. I WENT TO THE FRONT DOOR KNOCKED AND TRIED THE CODE HE SENT ME , BUTAND THERE NOONE ANSWERED AND THERE WAS NO SIGN OF AN ISSUE AT ALL. HOWEVER, THE REAL STORY HERE IS THAT THE OWNER TEXTED ME 2-3 DAYS BEFORE ARRIVAL AND GAVE ME WHAT HE SAID WAS HIS BANK ACCOUNT INFO AND DEMANDED A $300 DEPOSIT. HE SAID THE PROPERTY INSURANCE REQUIRED HIM TO GET THE DEPOSIT OR HE COULD NOT RENT IT TO ME. HE REQUESTED MY BANK ACCOUNT INFO TO "SEND THE DEPOSIT BACK TO". THIS PROPERTY WAS RESERVED THROUGH BOOKING.COM AND ALL FEES WERE PAID TO THEM AND THERE WAS (AND STILL IS) NO MENTION OF A FUTURE DEPOSIT REQUIRED ON THIS PROPERTY. SMELLING A SCAM I SAID NO TO MY BANK ACCOUNT INFO AND SAID I WOULD MEET THE OWNER AND PROVIDE CASH AND IN RETURN GET A RECEIPT. WHEN WE ARRIVED I CHECKED MY PHONE AND SAW THE CANCELLATION, AS WELL AS, A BOOKING.COM RECOMMENDATION ON A PLACE TO STAY AS A REPLACEMENT. NOT KNOWING THE AREA AND NEEDING A PLACE TO STAY AFTER THE LATE CANCELLATION, WE ACCEPTED IT. UNFORTUNATELY IT WAS DIRTY, IN DISREPAIR AND NOT VERY COMFORTABLE. TO BE HONEST I THINK THIS OWNER EITHER WANTED TO USE THIS APARTMENT OR WAS ABLE TO RENT IT TO SOMEONE ELSE FOR MORE MONEY OR A LONGER PERIOD OF TIME. THIS WHOLE EXTRA DEPOSIT AT THE LAST MINUTE THAT WAS NEVER ADVERTISED SEEMED LIKE A SETUP TO GET US TO CANCEL OR SCAM US OUT OF $300. SINCE WE HAD GOLF RESERVATIONS IN THAT AREA WE WERE STUCK. RENT THIS PROPERTY AT YOUR OWN PERIL AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A SOLID PLAN B. THIS RESERVATION WAS THE VERY DEFINITE LOW LIGHT OF OUR TRIP TO THE UK!

Homely apartment, walking distance from Ayr beach

A nice spacious apartment for two couples and a toddler. The thick walls meant that we didn't disturb each other at all, and it was great to have a fully furnished and stocked kitchen for when we didn't want to eat out.

Some of the fittings were quite fragile, and broke easily. You are asked to bank-transfer a deposit ahead of time (instead of using Booking.com payment system) which is a costly challenge for non-UK bank account holders.

A truly lovely apartment with beautiful grounds. A great place to relax and enjoy.

The apartment is spacious with a lovely view. It's ideally located within easy reach of Ayr town centre and the beach. There are two nice hotels nearby that are open to non-residents that serve good food and have a nice selection of drinks. There is also an Indian restaurant close by where we had a wonderful meal one evening. The apartment has lovely grounds and is a true home from home.

Nothing! Just one suggestion would be for a pint of milk to be provided for guests on arrival although there is a local store 5 minutes walk away.

The apartment is in a very convenient part of Ayr for all the amenities. Very good parking and nice gardens at the property. Kitchen is well equipped, nice little seating area off the kitchen which my two granddaughters adored (6yrs and 8yrs). Good shower, all plumbing in good working order. A nice apartment, great for families.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Inverdon!

Beautiful property in a perfect location. Hosts we’re very attentive before, during and after our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very helpful. Just a few minutes drive from the sea front and stunning views of the old racecourse. Our children loved watching the world go by through the telescope.

As the apartment is so spacious, it does take a good while to warm up, especially in the large living room.

Great place to stay

Loved the apartment and the decor, the beds were comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed. Loved the little touches like water in the fridge, and chocolates on arrival. There was even a bucket and spade in the cupboard (although we didn't have time fo) a beach trip

Livingroom was very cold which isn't a shock for such a big room but was hard on the kids. Thankfully there were lots of blankets

Incredible stay at Inverdon

The grounds to this apartment are stunning. The apartment is spacious and on walking in immediately felt at home. From the facilities to the owners everything was incredible. The property is scrupulously clean with various items within the kitchen really making it a home from home. The view from the property is stunning and the communication with the owners was tremendous. I will definitely be back to stay at Inverdon... if they will have me 🤣 thank you for having us!

The only note I would say is I think the sofa in the living room could be bigger as we came as a family of 4 adults and 2 kids and I do think a bigger sofa/sofa bed would enhance this property and make the whole stay absolutely perfect.

The apartment exceeded expectations, everything you need is there & more. Little extras very much appreciated. David & Tia we’re fantastic hosts, plenty communication before during & after stay but without being overbearing. Location was fantastic, beach close by, The Chestnuts Hotel 5mins walk were staff & meal were superb & other amenities 20min walk. Would definitely recommend staying here

Flat was excellent . ideal for our family group . It had everything we needed . Very spacious . Good garden area too and short walk to the beach.

possible down side was stairs to the second floor, but we did know this and managed buggy and wee ones without a problem
