Annexe Newnham

We were greeted by the host upon arrival and he showed us around (a rare luxury these days). He was extremely helpful and friendly - he even installed an AC unit (it was during the '26 heatwave) and attended to it during our stay. The Annex was immediately welcoming and we felt at ease and at home. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Although the location is out of the way it was perfect for our purposes.

I can't think of anything apart from there is only terrestrial TV (not a big deal).

The warm welcome from Hugh. The annexe accommodation was excellent, flat access (no steps to the door), gated parking right next to the property, (good for the motorbike... and for cars). The room was spacious and included a good selection of films to watch on TV, Air con' if needed, and a decent continental breakfast choice. Fridge, Kettle and Toaster provided

Lack of eateries close by, unfortunately for us the local pub/restaurant was closed on the evening we stopped. Daventry is not far for the main establishments.

This is a great find, very comfortable, easy parking, hosts Annabelle and Hugh were delightful. A great stay, we’ll definitely be back. The village is lovely too.
