The location was great p, right in the village so easy to walk to pubs etc. Very clean and comfortable. Good facilities and close to lots of visitor attractions.
Close to neighbours. But they were very friendly.

The cottage was truly home from home, in a lovely village, perfect for scenic countryside walking, with OS map and local walking book provided too. Well presented, quality furnishings and bonus milk and snacks provided on arrival. Local pubs within short distance, and practically next door to the village shop/butchers/bakery which was a delight (try the freshly baked Ashover tarts).

A fabulous little cottage perfect for me and my dog!! The owners were there if we needed anything but left us to it which was lovely. Ashover is such a pretty little village and we had the farm shop right on our doorstep! Garden Cottage is beautifully clean and comfortable with everything we needed and a pretty little garden to sit out in and enjoy some much needed peace and quiet. Thank you so much David and Lisa for a wonderful break, Thor and I will most definitely be back!! Ps a visit to Chatsworth Manor is an absolute must!
