A superb location but some issues

The location of the property and the views of the village were superb. A 10 minute stroll takes you to the centre, countless great restaurants and the beach but the apartment is away from the noise in the evening so it worked really well. It’s also an easy walk to two supermarkets and all the amenities the village has to offer. The apartment itself looked great and was well equipped.

The requirement for an additional holding deposit plus 90 euro cleaning fee plus 19 euro per person for linen (2 beds for 2 adults and 2 children) in cash or cheque was excessive. As travellers from a a county that does not have euro as the primary currency this meant cash was our only option and it was inconvenient and felt unsafe as we had to accumulate the required money over a number of days before the stay. I appreciate that it was in the small print, but it was an error I will not make again when booking a holiday! Whilst the apartment looked sparkling on arrival, there was rubbish from previous holiday makers behind open internal doors and around 50% of the crockery had to be re washed before we could use it. Overall it felt like the place needed more than a superficial clean. With such a hefty cleaning fee for 4 days I expected a little better.

A great place to put your feet up and watch the evening arrive on a warm summer evening.

Great position and easy well appointed property.

There were additional charges after we booked that I questioned. Example…having to pay for your linen and towels. Plus a €1000 cash bond. That was returned at check out. I negotiated not paying that as it is already covered by booking.com. Doesn’t get the stay off in a good foot. However it was a great place to stay and we enjoyed it.
